That'll be perfect. Even if he draws a bit of fouls it still helps the team and other guys at the big man position to come in there and primarily REALLY be a shot changer defensively, be a rebounder, and knowing where to be on offense putting in the effort we need. Particularly excelling in the pick and roll game!!!

Kuminga barely plays, you think Kai is going to get more minutes than Kuminga 😂 If dubs get him. They're going to waste his talent just like they did with Wiseman. @@marcustoiletgamer6560 He is old though. I dont think he would do. We need a true Center, with at least 7ft6 wingspan aged between 27-30 years old. Agile enough to rim run, catch loops, block, strong enough to take/give bumps in the paint, rebound and smart enough to stay out of foul trouble.

Agreed, minimum pay for a 3-bird in one shot for the Warriors. One more year on the Developmental stage is probably the best for him at Santa Cruz. Not bad for a 7'3" who just turned 21yo.

If Kai was that good, he would be in the NBA. Until a team gives him a chance, we will never know.

The Dubs already had a player better than Kai; his name is James Wiseman. They traded him because he wasn't a fit for their system and had low basketball feel primarily relying on his athleticism. He was late on defensive rotations and was a blow by for Gs/Fs on the perimeter switches. Watching Soto's game - he's worse than Wiseman coming out of a shortened college season at Memphis.

But being slow and undrafted isn't really that much of a big deal cause luka and Jokic looks really slow as well but they're effective af. Jokic was drafted second round yet now he's in the top 5 player in the league. We're not even expecting him to reach that level but just to a point of a great role player. GSW has that slow yet elite role player in Looney

Kd plays the perimeter his strength didn't come as a issue. Kai is a post player and as you see it has caused him not to play and his speed is slow compared to the average nba center

kai is soft, 7.3 does not know how to play his height advantage, he mostly waits outside the perimeter like a guard, and i don't know how you describe his foot speed, he is slower than most of his average peers, position wise on the latest WC games, and is kinda turnover prone and very clunky.

Indeed in the middle of this season the Warriors will include Kai in their roster 👏♥️

🤣 giannis was dominating at 21, Kai sotto is averaging 8 PTS and 6 rebounds in Japan!! He can't defend,rebound and has no jump shot, he recently lost his starting spot

If i can get a chance to surround CP3 with players like Saric, Sotto, Kuminga and Moddy/Quinones, i am taking it. That unit would be so much better with someone like CP3 as the primary ball handler, the bench problems would be solved. If Coach Kerr can improve their Chemistry this group has the potential to be one of the best units coming of the bench in the entire League. Judging by how good CP3 is with young players, its more of a probability than a possibility.

I said this on one of the past vids and i do agree, he's too slow, i mean literally slow. He look like he's limping from one end to another and with a fast paced team like the warriors i don't see him as a good fit too cuz of that strength and slow ass problem of his. If he could improve those im pretty sure he can work with nba teams on the warriors tho i still doubt it. Just take a look at Wiseman man what a waste

So now, let us compare his statistics to NBA big guys. Antetokounmpu is 6'9" and 242 pounds, 29 yrs old. Victor Wembanyana is 7'4" , 209 pounds, 20 yrs. old. Chet Holmgren is 7'1" 207 pounds, 22 yrs old; Nicola Jokic is 6'9" or 6'10" and 283.8 pounds, 29 yrs. old. Therefore, as Kai grows older and meets his target weight of 270 pounds BMI of 22, and borderline weight before obesity, he will be a powerhouse. His father Irvin Sotto is a retired basketball player, 6'7", and weighs almost 300 pounds due to inactivity, there is no doubt Kai will be a powerhouse soon. The team that will draft Kai will be a steal for them. He has the skills to do it.

His fans are always complaining that he don't have enough playing time without thinking of this reason, how can he earn a minutes or long playing time if : 1) His stamina is so weak, can easily get tired. 2) He can't run faster, he will only be a liability on his team's defense if opposing team capitalize his weakness in speed. 3) He is very inconsistent on his shooting. When a team is always in trouble and need a scorer or stopper at a very high pace, do you rely on this kind of player?

Honestly, Kai needs to have a skillset that fits a role in the NBA. Is he a rim runner, lob catcher, stretch big, rim protector. For me he doesn't have a clear role in the league

Kai IS NOT a great fit for the dubs. They would waste Kai's talents benching him between now and the next 4 years or whenever Curry retires. Just look at Wiseman. Dub's aren't that appealing for rookies since they're focused on a championship and having vet that can contribute now. They're not focused on developing younger players 2-3 years from now. Kuminga barely plays already, Kai would be deep in the bench. Kai would be better for with the Sacramento Kings. They are younger, they have room for development of younger players and they have as similar style of basketball to the Dubs, even more efficient in offense.

Yeah I saw that guy on the heat and every time he had the ball I cringed. Soto cant be as bad as him or Ben Simmons at this point.

Potential doesn't correlate to success. Kai Sotto injured his back after barely 10 minutes on the floor. That kills any chances of him getting into the NBA for good. He's too frail. He doesn't need a bit, he needs 6 times a week heavy intensity upper and lower body split workouts for a year.
