i like and hate the dongle. I like it for being cool and unique. The cable being on top can be fixed with a 90 degree angle usb cable adapter. The thing i hate about the dongle is that its too big for travel if you're using a portable laptop

Hey, what DPI increments the software allows? 10? 50? 100?

How did you find the coating, disregarding the slits. Coating for me is super important and i absolutely love the coating on the dareu a950 mg. Not sure if you've tried it but how would you compare the two in size, quality etc

I have not tried the a950. Unfortunately I can’t try to many mice right now with the size of my channel but I can say that the coating is alright on the BeastX. Is not slippery by any means and has a slight texture but it also isn’t the most grippy in the world. But I have no issues picking it up or holding on to it

The dongle was probably created as a niche decoration for your desk.

Nice review, any mice you own that you can compare it to? Especially shapewise

I own the Darmoshark ms3 varun and shape wise that mouse is very similar. The m3s’ hump is a little farther back though

How's the battery life for you? At 2000hz polling rate of mine, it doesn't last long. I had it for 4 days and have charged it twice already. unlike my other wireless mouse like Gpro needing a charge every week or more.

Yeah, battery life isn’t great but I can plug it in for 5 minutes and get more than half my battery back so it’s not too big of an issue for me

@@KaiZC_Tech I plug in mine for 20mins and It'll only charge back to 10%... according to the software when I'm monitoring it closely. For a full charge, I need 2 hours more or less. I contacted them about it already and they said that they'll be patching that with a new firmware.

Same, the battery lasts about a day and a half on 2k and it drains quite fast compared to my super light. But you know, it cuts off weight soo

I would get universal skates. I’ve used the Xraypad jade and obsidian donut skates and they are both great

I really hope they come out with just a regular plastic model or at least one without holes. not a fan of magnesium or those big holes, the specs/quality/shape are on point for me though

How could you have anything against magnesium? Like if you want a plastic mouse, just buy one lmao, there are more than enough, also with similar shapes. And the holes are personal preference, they usually do not matter at all, but if you dislike them, I would recommend you a Lamzu mouse, probably currently the best lightweight mice without holes on the top.

Great review. But I got even more bad news about the dongle. The dongle is supposed to be laid on it's back with the screen facing the ceiling. I know, it's a very stupid design.

Yeah. The dot skates aren’t really very good. The glass ones are the best in my opinion

Is the sleep setting bugged for you too? No matter what I set it to it always sleeps at 5 minutes. Drains a ton of the battery inf "afk" time compared to my Razers.

Mine goes to sleep after about a minute of no movement and it seems to actually go to sleep. It takes a few seconds to wake up but I haven’t noticed my battery being drained while sleeping. I do have the habit of turning my mice off when not using them though.

@@KaiZC_Tech That's odd, mine never sleeps that fast, so if I get up for a minute it just keeps running. I've had it go down 1% in my short absence before.

I only got about 6-7 hours of continuous play with 4K I think. To be completely honest I didn’t really pay attention to how many hours because I played in chunks. But I had to charge it after two days of playing with 4k

1 month later doesn’t seem all that much of a scam, especially since the latency got tested with XLAT it was like 0.55, which the ULX at 4k polling is like 0.44, extremely close.
