Oh my word this is yet another example of just how inspirational a short 15 minutes or so video can be. Amazing job of helping me to stay motivated and excited about what's possible with a little bit of thought, dedication to master some tools and then commitment to put those skills and that knowledge into making something really cool. I'm new to your channel but already I'm a massive fan and this is one of my top 3 favourite channels to learn from. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing projects with those of us with much less knowledge and more to learn. Please keep making your incredible videos. ps. I also like some other channels but I don't care whether somebody went to a private school or comes from the streets, for me it's about what they do in this space and whether the content is high quality. I hear what others have commented and agree that there are also other high calibre content creators and yes I also enjoy those other channels but I think this channel has something very unique and really quite special (and no I'm not a sponsor, I just love tech, I love software, being a developer, a graphic artist, 3D modelling and also an animator I get a buzz from watching somebody else utilise a really good mix of skills to produce something really cool). The next thing to experiment with is different resins for your print, specifically there are “tough resins“ that will dramatically strengthen the print and make it more flexible and less likely to break. Love this video. I'm a third year Mechanical Engineering major and the prototyping process was one of the hardest lessons I had to learn. I would get so drawn into trying to plan the perfect first design that I would never actually build it, and it led to so much unnecessary stress and effort. Turns out, just making a very bare bones proof of concept works great. Don't give it too much thought, just make sure it works. Once that's done, do the rest by feel. The method you landed on in the end was exactly correct. Mess around with it for a few minutes/hours and see what feels good and what feels bad. Work from there. Keep up the great work!

You really should review either the HSK Pro 4K or the HSK Pro ACE (1khz, but 3ish grams lighter), gwolves have really improved their QC with the new mice and it’s almost exactly what you’re looking for

Don't know if I'd be able to use it myself but I like the idea. Have you considered modelling some ridges to reinforce the sides? I mean, they look like they could break off if you grip them hard enough.

Just a thought: The "grip" of your mousepads surface might make your mouse feel heavier. As mousepads for gaming usually have some sort of resistance to give you control.
