Another great cheap RC is the Carisma GT24B. 1/24 scale line from rally cars to buggies to monster trucks and they're all pretty much indestructible, 8000kv brushless from factory too!

I had the buggy version of this one and its good to a point. its fairly quick and easy to handle but after a couple months mine sort of just fell apart so I got the wltoys a959-b as a replacement and its a lot better in my opinion

One of the best suggestions for a kid to start with a hobby grade rc and is CHEAP for the size. Also i laughing so much when you throw the bell next to suscribe button and laugh when you shaw us what is underneath this green thing, hahahahahahaha Kevin you have sooo much fun and the unboxings are so fun and cool edited. Please keep this style you make me laugh and have greate time when i watch your videos.

Hey kev on you trx4 try moving the rear shocks forward for crawling it works great!

I bought the HBX 18859A model off Amazon, and have beat the absolute CRAP out of it. Would love to see what you could do with one. The upgraded model is 2S LIPO standard, brushless, all-metal driveline, aluminum fluid-filled shocks, headlights, etc. It's a tiny little BEAST at the skatepark. I did drill a hole in the bottom of the chassis so I could put a ziptie around the ESC to hold it down. I also destroyed the body mounts and pins, and use high-strength velcro on the sides of the chassis and inside the body to (sort of) hold it on. Still better than the pins. So far all I've done is bent a rear driveshaft but functionally it's intact!

Kevin put a brushless 7000kv motor in it. Theses things do instant wheelies when you do and it's fast. And also run it on a 2s 40 to 60C lipo battery and its super fast

I also have a Transit however it came with leaking rear shocks, no fluid in the fronts, and far too sensitive steering. Cheap fixables, indeed and I'm working on making it less top heavy. Hope for it to be a half-decent rig once I'm finished with it. Well worth the price if you know how to make it your own.

Thinking about getting a Revo 3.3 but on the fence on if I’ll enjoy it bc it’s my 1st nitro and i don’t know if it’ll be fun since I’m use to my really fast Bandit VXL. Any thoughts ?

I think that you need to do a speed run on both the original battery and the wltoys battery

you can but only do it at like 1c (1 amp per 1000mah)

Try the traxxas latrax Teton it's a ready to run comes with everything including the controller batteries it great

which is better the Wltoys 979? or this HBX Rampage? Im not sure which one to buy.
