On the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest gas turbine service center brings power to the Kingdom and the rest of the world. Opened in 2011, the GE Manufacturing & Technology Service Center in Dammam has provided customers in 40 countries with the crucial repairs that make their gas turbines more efficient while increasing uptime and prolonging the life of the turbines. Meet one of the engineers from GEMTEC as she gives a tour of the facility.

I'd love to see more about GE Hitachi nuclear plants. After all, nuclear power is a critical part of the zero carbon energy mix! From the Ge Hitachi website: "A single uranium pellet, slightly larger than a pencil eraser, contains the same energy as a ton of coal, 3 barrels of oil, or 17,000 cubic feet of natural gas. Each uranium fuel pellet provides up to five years of heat for power generation. And because uranium is one of the world’s most abundant metals, it can provide fuel for the world’s commercial nuclear plants for generations to come."

Safety of men and materials is mandatory. Hard hats and using of protective gloves even for handling GT bearing is so important we can't imagine.

I worked 18 years for GE and here since it started until 2012... But felt sorry that no expatriate (non Saudis) shown working in plant for years have neglected or deleted from this video
