    @@JOATJESSE most comments are just saying nice video. why dont you tell them the same as it is off topic from the technical part. the music is awefull, and to tell it is a constructive feedback because the video alone is nice.

    I would say there is also a 3rd purpose of spoilers and that is counteracting lift. Useful nearby ground at flare.

    Thanks again for the wonderful work. These presentations are spectacular, an amazing visual resource. Videos are an amazing tool for learning airplane systems. I look forward to new videos of the various systems of the boeing 777. Wonderful work.

    Im pretty sure that in roll maneuvers only the outboard spoilers are controled

    For redundancy (possibly), because even if the electrical system fails, we can still use the mechanical control

    OK Andreiza. I'm also trying to find out the reason behind. At high speed the Primary flight control computer prevents the movement of #5 and #10 spoilers. As the turbulent air flow from these spoiler surfaces reduces the efficiency of tail control surface. I think that might be a reason why the designer have restricted the actuation angle of #4&11 spoilers to lesser angle as compare to others. But not sure as no where it is written. I thought u might have know the reason so I asked u here. By the way I really appreciate and love ❤❤ your hard work to make these animated videos. Hates off to you.. Please make more videos like this on 777.
