I wonder who that person is who always craps on what HHH brings to the table with regards to the talent he pushes for? Who? Who? Who? lol What I don't get is why his recent story line with Seth didn't happen in 2017 which would have been more appropriate as opposed to WWE waiting 7 years to build up a story line around an old injury that see's him losing at the end. I think if his shoulder wasn't injured he wouldn't have been universal champion for long and I don't think he would have had a second run with it. If Vince wanted him to be the face of the company he would have been a champ sometime after he came back from his shoulder injury in 2017. His intercontinental title reigns weren't all that memorable other than his NXT run in which he seemed to be more over on that show than he is on the main roster. The only face he is, is the one his mom and fans love. lol

Still the saddest story in the industry for me… he’s one of my favorites of all time! I know what he’s capable of in terms of character work in Japan and NXT and I do desperately wish that they’d just let him run with it on the main roster! Finn has all the upsides and history in the world. And that promo on raw this week felt like an attempt to step in the right direction. The promo Finn cut there was genuinely really good! Problem is you couldn’t hear anything because even when Finn is given a serious script and is showing what a commodity he can be… the fans in the arena don’t take him serious because the main roster has never displayed him as such! 😓

@@MarceloB1234 He is the saddest story to me *from a creative standpoint*. The way his career on the main roster played out just felt more disappointing than all the ones before and after. I know Benoit’s case is ‘sadder’ but A) I wasn’t really thinking about him and B) When I wrote the word ‘story’ I meant how their career played out on the main roster. And before Benoit committed his crimes he had a pretty damn good career and reputation for delivering good matches!

When Austin Theory came to NXT, I thought to myself, "This guy is basically Finn Balor but 3" taller, no Irish accent, and 15 years younger. Vince did. Rollins has no beef with Balor that much is clear, the injury was accidental. Balor is a phenomenal performer as highlighted by Triple H in NXT and in Balor's time in Japan, and he's consistency produced good matches for us; its Vince who up until the past few months, has been in charge of booking. Hopefully Hunter can bring my boy back to the top, we've been robbed of a prime Finn Balor.

I still to this day believe finn was the domino effect of vince being absolutely done with the indy nxt guys HHH brought in. Yes kevin owens got a title but after that. Nobody else was a top guy in the main roster.

To me; Balor Lost to Edge but he came out as the bigger star because Finn kept appearing on TV even though he got 14 staples on his head while Edge just disappeared again.

Yoooo there is a lot of meat for Balor vs Damien... They have a long history of feuds back from NXT black and gold... Priest is undeniably going to be a future champion with his MITB cash-in.... I think it would be a perfect time to revisit the feud between them... And finally the long awaited civil war within judgement day...

Now that he is 41 I don't see him becoming a world champion again it's sad actually he is a brilliant package

I was at the survivor series match in Boston and I gotta say Balor and Aj put on the best match on the card

He finished the match in his PPV World title winning debut at SummerSlam in 2016 like a warrior not given a chance outside of NXT to prosper.... he's criminally one of the most underrated in history and i hope this current run with the judgment day nets him ALL THE GOLD he deserves.

I Hope Finn Balor becomes the Solo badass babyface we saw in his 2nd NXT run He should definitely win the 2024 Royal Rumble and Become the New World Heavyweight Champion by defeating Gunther(Who'll be the champion heading into the match). you missed the fact that FINN BALOR PINNED ROMAN REIGNS (CLEAN) to earn the Universal Championship opportunity, that too in 2016 when Roman was being pushed to the throat as a face, that my friend is a bigggg achievement

He needs to bring the demon. I understand they want it to be an event every time he does, but it's sadly too long each time. I'd love to see him as the beast against damion priest. Priest has really shown he can hold the main event and have memorable matches. The only issue they have now is both titles to me are locked for a while. Seth rollins is by far the most over wrestler atm, and roman is doing roman.

I feel the same way about the WrestleMania match against edge

There's few I'm more impressed with than Finn in today's era. One of the greatest in-ring performer I've ever seen and alter ego, Demon is genius.

In WWE regardless of how the wrestler performs in-ring or with their promo skills sometimes it really doesn't matter if the creatives have the most power on the outcome of the matches. I even wonder if wrestlers are graded every match and that gives enough consideration for the creatives to favor the outcome to the performers. I guess in these cases, you really just to have audience appeal and need to suck-up to management to get a win.

Finn will always be one of my favourite wrestlers, in Japan and in WWE. It's a shame his position fell after he got injured in the inaugural universal championship match but Finn will always be one of the goats and I hope we see more of the demon and main even Finn in the future, hopefully in judgement day but if not I think another solo run is overdue, maybe the united states champion? or heck even beat Seth at some point down the line if Seth's taking his movie career more seriously now. One can only hope :)
