How Filmmakers Handle Race: Do The Right Thing & La Haine
How do different filmmakers handle race in their movies. In my twelfth video essay, I analyze Matthei Kassovitz's 1995 French film, La Haine, and Spike Lee's 1989 American film, Do The Right Thing, to see how geographical context impacts an auteur's handling of the race and ethnicity theory.

Race, is the wrong term in itself anyway. Can no longer take the use of that word and any debat using it serious these days. Human race, different ethnicities.

cites are not ghettos , majority of cities are casual social housing where people get on with their daily lives. I think it's a bit far-fetched to collectively label all cites as ghettos, but other than that good informative video
