I start my first day as a splicer tomorrow, watched a few videos and after this one im feeling pretty excited. This seems right up my alley and way better than my previous job

I love this job and glad to hear from you that you want to learn fiber optic splicing. Well i have few suggestions for you. This is field work you can't learn online so you can go for internship or volunteer work. Within weeks you will be a pro technician.
