I'm not sure if you know it, probably not because you're doing it wrong, but "touch grass" means that you are telling someone to get outside and touch grass in real life because they believe you are spending too much time on the Internet.

For why 76 looks like paradise: In fallout 76, the radiation mutated the unique wild life in West Virginia, there was also a bunch of ultra unique tests going on involving mining, wild life and radiation that also caused the areas to either flourish or perish massively.

the nuke guidance computers in the silos are programmed so they can't hit Vault 76 and the rest of the forest region. doesn't mean the shockwaves and rads didn't get there
