How far will $20 take you on a mini 125cc Honda Monkey motorcycle?(It's INSANE!)

Here's the idea... These mini-motos are getting crazy MPGs, so how far would one be able to take you with a 20 dollar bill? That's the big question and we've been dying to find out! #Honda #monkey #moskomoto #cardo #motovlog

Duuuude, that is freaking BADA$$ 517mi on $20!?!?! Haaaa, I'm over here in my 6.2L LS denali laying down single digit gas mileage like she's a tank for sure and has all the soccer ballz with 500hp/500tqe (obviously not to the tires but with minor bolt on power adders and a tune) tons of fun however even if I'm nice to it I'm not even close to 10mpg I believe I average 6mpgs smh! The cool part is with having all-time AWD n zero traction issues I'm able to smoke the brand new dodge cars/trucks (obvs not the hellkitty's) and most stuff that pulls up next to me and sees the only two stickers I have for the MBRP exhaust so either they wanna hear it or they're wondering if the tank is able to move out lol either way they always seem to want to challenge me which I graciously accept then promptly blow their doors off 😂 my buddy has a manual trans Hemi charger a bit older one super nice car sounds great but he cannot come within a bus length of my rear bumper when I drop the skinny pedal... Again though, gas mileage hahaha yeah whats that never heard of it? 🤔🤷‍♂️😝🥴🤦‍♂️

I get anywhere between 120 to 130 mpg on a 23' Honda Trail 125, I spend about $3.20 per filling - about 1.2 gallons - once a week, so for a 4 week month that's about 13 bucks. So $20 covers a whole month and another 2 weeks worth of gas. Never in my life have I ever spend so little on gas until I got my Trial. I love my Honda Trail.

@@Motodoggo_ No. He spent $20 and made 517 miles on that amount. You would need to know exactly how much gas he pumped into the motorcycle in order to learn the miles per gallon. If he got the gas for 3.50 per gallon that would mean he burned 5.71 gallons. 517/5.71=90.5 mpg. When I had my monkey bike I got between 85-110 mpg depending on how hard I rode and the quality of fuel. The total trip this guy took was 1092 miles. He probably got even better than 90.5 mpg coming back because he had a north wind pushing him.

@@dwightsmith4641he did say he was riding it at full wick. He is going to be towards the bottom of the average on mpg. I can get 125-155 mpg on my 640 vulcan. It just varies on how hard im pushing

@@LuciferMorningstar-wk8qu Ok. Motodoggo erased the comment where his math was a little off. I have no idea what this man’s mpg was on his monkey because he clearly stopped at three different if not four different gas stations. I doubt he paid 3.50 a gallon all three or four times he stopped. It looked as though he pegged it a few times, but other times it looked like he was going slower. If your Vulcan gets that good a gas mileage and you want to get better then the monkey would be a step down. I only get about 68 mpg on my wr250r, I am lucky to get 45mpg on my GSA1200.

I’ve road-tripped to the southern US, eastern seaboard, multiple times, and once to the Arctic Ocean in Canada. I just started riding last year and have been dying to just go west without a destination. After seeing this I want to go so much more now. But, being from Indiana, I should probably do a loop of Michigan first, baby steps lol. Only been to Detroit twice, and Grand Rapids once. Heard it’s got some great scenery! Awesome video! Last time I crossed into Canada they searched my car 😂

Dude the age of the map made me laugh. Cause I'd do the same. and figure roads don't move that often. Then remember looking at some of my grandpa's road maps. And telling him. Hey there is lake/river system here, now. Yeah humans built it and moved it. subbed

I’m really surprised at the little Monkey going that far on $20.00. It just goes to show, that you don’t have to have a Big Bike to have fun and see the World. I’m thinking about downsizing from my R1200GS, to a Honda CRF450L? Something like that, I may have it wrong, but I think a Honda 450 would actually be more fun. I would definitely have to do something about the Seat though for longer Trips. I just came across this Video randomly. Subscribed. 👍👍😁

You went right past my place! I bought a 93 Goldwing after your Key West adventure. It would have been fun to join you on the $20 adventure but the Goldwing will only go 200 miles on $20.

I have a GW and an ST. Both get the same range as yours. You could probably throw his Monkey on the back of your GW and give him a ride.

Should've really put a smaller rear sprocket on for a long distance mileage challenge. You ride right through my mom's town she lives in. That was cool I've ridden those roads and highways for decades. It's the perfect ride to me and I've traveled most of the Florida to Minnesota road trip routes. You should've stayed along the West side of Minnesota it's way better!
