i agree. usually in situations like this, especially with girls around that age, they would act somewhat jealous & wouldn't even think about willingly giving up their bedroom. yet this angel is gladly making so many sacrifices for her new sisters. seeing this is so beautiful. god bless this family. i am sure the four girl's mother is looking down from heaven smiling on this family, so proud of all they have done to make her daughter's feel at home & loved.

How terrifying that must of been for their mom. Knowing she was going to die and that her 4 daughters didnt have another parent to turn to... so glad they had a great family to help her.. The eldest daughter giving up her room and helping them shows how great these kids will be raised.

oh my. when the oldest daughter cried, I lost it! such a big hearted loving family! I just want to give them all hugs. I'm a single mom of 2 girls and had a tumor scare a few years back. turned out to be scarring from migraines. I made out my will and a trust fund for my girls though. You never know. They raised really great girls, it's pretty wonderful how they raised their biological children who care about others

Can I just say, the dad is incredible

I love Ella she is also in my class and when I found this out I cried and I was like “Ella I feel so bad that your mom died.”

when my mom passed away in 2008 her best friend growing up adopted my sister and i (we were 14 and 8) we call him out uncle and it makes my heart so happy knowing other people go through this too.

I am not crying right now. 😭 😭 Thank you for teaching us how to love.

pussiriffic could be several reasons, he may have walked out, but he also may not legally be allowed custody due to mental illness or he may have a job that doesn’t allow much stability (such as a single guy who works as a trucker, long hours rarely home etc) or he may just not be financially stable enough to care for four daughters. It’s really hard to judge cases like this without knowing the full picture
