It is nice. If I’m gonna spend over $100k, it would be a motor home.

There is a highway driving sound assist where the front seat voices are amplified in rear seats. So you don't have to scream for the third row to hear you. I belive it works from the back to the front too.

Really was considering this. Decided to go with the 2024 Lincoln Navigator black label. Rather top trim luxury than mid trim GLS. If money wasn’t a factor I’d get the AMG.

Fininally my favorite car of all time. Love Love Love.

That 3rd row has as much leg room as the back seats in my 911 😂 The GLS is a 2 seat row car with a big trunk. That’s the reality of it.

There is a pass through capability with the center console of the bench. It can be handy to access cargo or the third row from the second row.

Unusable 3rd row on this large SUV makes it a NO. I'd take a Lexus TX top trim over this all day long because it has utility and luxury.

It's totally usable for us with kids. Tight with adults, but she didn't seem to move the front seats up. TX loses air suspension and smooth ride, which I am surprised she didn't mention.

You can option a fifth climate zone for the third row. The third row seats are also heated and have cup holders and USB-C.

It's a gorgeous vehicle but the cost of ownership (e.g. depreciation, maintenance etc) is off the charts... Mercedes' reliability is also sub-par compared to what you pay.

I just had one of these for a month, the 2023 one. Looked exactly the same except for the front trim. They didn’t change anything. Did they at least add wireless CarPlay??

Yes.

The thing that’s annoying about the GLS is that you have to get the upgraded climate control package to get top vents and it’s really hard to find outside of the AMG line. I agree with another poster I like the X7 so much better.

Lexus is barely luxury anymore

The car seat tilt works on both sides, unlike the x7 where it only works on the passenger side.

Smaller. Nicer. Second row ventilated seats, which those don't have.

Hyundai palisade Calligraphy has all these features plus some more, for half the price. People are really burning for a substandard car if they are getting this.

The automatic seats work very reliably, unlike the Land Rovers.

Really dislike the new grill on these. I feel like it was so much cuter before the mid cycle refresh

Unfortunately, your mic was fading in and out during this video. It was always audible, but sometimes garbled.

Cargo capacity (87 cubic feet) is Not larger than the Lexus Tx (97 cubic feet).

I wish the TX had massaging seats.

I think if they got rid of the spare tire they could’ve pushed the third row back and had a deeper trunk. And who is changing their own tire in that car??

If you get the upgraded Burmeister sound, it uses that space and you don't get a spare. But you get some extra storage down there.

its nice but Rivian R1S for the win! More spacious, More storage space, 7 passenger seating, actual usable third row seating with legroom for an adult. These other mid-side third row vehicles are great for those of you with kids with no legs, seriously, the third row is good for pretty much nothing, well maybe your dogs could sit back there. FYI, that is not Chocolate Leather in the Mercedes.... Its Bahia Brown. Most Mercedes don't even come with actual leather seats anymore its MB Tex material!

X7 is much better than gls at this time

This vehicle is copying the BMW X7. Old saying if you cannot beat them then, join them.

Why most of Mercedes are better than BMW

The ride in the TX is quite inferior without air suspension. With E-ABC, the GLS is ultra smooth. The engine sound and performance for the GLS 580's v8 is also far better than anything the TX offers. The 360 camera system is far better than the limited camera system in the Lexus.
