How Expensive is New Zealand Part 1 | Accomodation

Let me know if there is anything in particular you want to see and I will record that next.
If you like this video do share it or sub the channel with the notification bell if you want to receive notification on the upcoming ones (as clearly I was embarrassed while doing self promotion during the end of the video).
Thanks for all the love in the last video that helped me grow (borrow) some balls (which I had to from someone, cause I naturally didn't grow any my whole life lol) to shoot another one.
This video will help you to sort out your accomodation in New Zealand.
Honourable Mentions: We (students in New Zealand) usually go to facebook marketplace or Trade me (Local App) to look for a house that has a room available (flatting). You can easily search and join facebook groups local to the area you are moving in.
Otherwise if you are a group of 3-4 people you can probably rent a 3-4 bedroom house through the above mentioned medias too.
Let me know if there is anything in particular you want to see and I will record that next..
Ta,
Sakshi

.....are you serious...how could you think that. Students would pay huge amount...i don't know from where you got your stats.... Akl...has rent around 150-200 depend on area... And in. Tauranga...it is same...and Rotorua where m living..it is around 80 to 150... For a single room..

Mr. Singh Hi, thanks for pointing that out. I do mention in the video that I will cover only those places I have been and one of them is auckland central city. I am not sure about which area you are referring to but I have clearly mentioned auckland central city where I stayed has a rent of 600 nzd for an apartment which was shared by 4-6 people on an average so the rent was less per individual..which I mention later in the video (that students take a whole house/apartment on rent and divide among themselves). Like you said akl has rent depending on area and I covered just the central city (the apartments I lived in for a week was on kingston street near the sky tower hence expensive). I will leave your comment pinned here so people have an idea of rent for other areas as well 😊

THE KOKU QUOTES It is very difficult to say which one is the best coz it depends on your skill tbh but there are certain jobs that are short skilled which you can probably find on Immigration New Zealand (link below). And the pay scale varies as well. I have been in retail as well as software so I can tell you on managerial level in retail you are looking at approx $18/hr (NZD) and software testing at a start of ~ 22/hr (NZD). www.immigration.govt.nz/employ-migrants/explore-your-options/before-you-start-hiring-migrants/skill-shortages

Kia Ora How long have lived in NZ? Are you still here? Well some of you numbers are close and rest not so much. I moved to NZ 9 years ago became a citizen in 7. It is God’s own country. There are many opportunities in NZ for people from all walks of life. Your rent suggestions are very limited as you have not stayed or seen many suburbs in Auckland or outside. studios are good options as they also available in suburbs. But I must appreciate your genuine effort to help people. You are right students share houses. Suburbs like ponsonby, glen eden, eden terrace, even some buildings in city are pretty affordable and no i am not talking bout Zest or Volt😂. But all in all good effort👍
