Oddissey had a Greek MC and even a Greek voice actor. For both MC. How is that comparable? 15 games all had same ethnicity as the period and never a historical character but first time they put a historical character as MC cause they can have an excuse why he’s black. You don’t get that right?

My problem with this game is the fact that fans have wanted a AC game set in Japan for years nows and Ubisoft didn't want to do because it would be boring now that they don't have any ideas left they only now decide to do it after fans were blessed with the ghost of Tsushima,now that's fans stopped caring about it they just throws this in our faces and expect us to be hyped about it

Ong they overreacting over yasuke, and assassins creed was never telling any accurate story from the past, this is the first ever character who actually ad a trace in human past and we literally don’t know what actually happened that make the story more intriguing

I couldn't care less about any Assassins Creed game, but as an Asian American i'm kinda upset they aren't having an asian character rep a game based on asian culture. But like I have no place to really be upset since I dont even play the game. Black Samurai are still cool as fuck though.

@@docdirtymrclean3610 It's pretty insane, in the background of this whole Yasuke drama I've noticed such blatant sexism aswell. This is only one of many comment I've seen complaining about "no Asian representation", just ignoring Naoe. I've seen a lot of comments saying that they just added Naoe as an extra to "pretend" to make the lack of Asian representation better... Clearly just ignoring the fact that Naoe was introduced first, she has more screen time, she has more lines and she's the one with the Hidden Blade... If anything, Yasuke is the extra added to Naoe's story. But I guess because she's a woman she doesn't count.

Everything on the poster (tall black guy standing straight while the asian woman is on her knees, facing him) and trailer is made so Yasuke is the centerpoint (she kills her target thanks for Yasuke showing up). They are hating for NO reason

This could be the AC we’ve finally been waiting for, it has the setting, 2 playable protagonists with different play styles, I’m holding back some of the hype because it is Ubi and they can be very hit or miss, but if they can manage to make a compelling story with good characters this could bring AC back in a big way. One can hope! Either way this will be a fun game imo, just a matter of if they can make it a truly great game. I’m not worried about the map and aesthetic as AC usually has great, detailed worlds to get lost in, where they can stumble is in providing meaningful quests, decisions and characters.
