Hi, i would appreciate if you pick up the line to the whole Nidus lore/history etc. the unkillable Sporeking has to get what he deserves, i also am maining him lately because im absolutely in Love with him. If you will do that could, could u also include a fashioned Nidus in the outro or so because i cant find armor etc thats suits him well 😂. Atleast i got a sick color combos and helmets that fit prime/non primed very well. However i brutally Respect and love the effort you put in and the Content is Top notch! In endless mission i swap like billion times with Equinox. Even since in my build there are the first ability and the ultimate augments, so i can do the Wukong Wannabe

This is a problem that can be handled through umbral forma, aura forma and operator school. As a main i use 1 equinox prime with three different builds on it. I use 2 helminth abilities for two builds and leave one original for low level content. She really is a jack of all trades unlike any other but understand she is EXTREMELY INVESTMENT HEAVY! It will take time to get her like you want but dont give up.

After the release of Sevagoth I wished for Equinox to have her forms have a separated mod config, like the reaper and his shadow. Both forms want different mod metrics but sadly DE did not implement it that way.

would make switching between forms a lot better equinox is my main but i would love if they added that

I love Equinox but I wish they did some basic quality of life changes for her like making her 3 stay on after switching, making the 1 buffs more significant and also once again her night 3 should have an energy drain cap and have uniform DR regardless of distance. Also *please* fix Energy Transfer not visually updating the aura's appearance when you switch. It's minor but it triggers me on a spiritual level.

i like how they are right now i think they just need more of how they did garuda say they added the forth and third augments into the base ability's and made new augments for the ability's then rebalance energy costs and durations for them and QoL has to bring them to par with other frames and reinvigorate them into the player % @@thorenrectus8688

I wish her ultimate was combining her two forms and having both effects on her abilities, like sleeping the enemies and making them extra vulnerable, reducing damage and augmenting damage at the same time. I don't think it would be broken, Octavia exists after all

Silent sleep equinox is one Heck of a way to rank up weapons in minutes. Enemies cannot see and hear you coming cuz they in a coma. Although if she had an eclipse form where she can have only 2 abilities from each form, she would have gotten so many more crazy and interesting builds

If they reworded for her one to be the passive they could very well put a new install-like 4th ability that changes the rest of the kit

Equinox could do well with quality of life and number buffs. Fix her 1 that it doesn’t decay. Improve the range of her 2. Get rid of the tiers of DR on her 3. Buff the shield gain on her 4. And make energy transfer effect her 3 too.

Equinox was my first frame to master next to some of the base frames and she’s just kept me interested when I lost interest in sadly nearly everything else

Equinox was a cool warframe I kinda wanted to grind on my first run through of the origin system, only to learn it would require double the farming of every other frame on a boss fight that was a total snore fest, no surprised that I ended up skipping Equinox. She's super interesting though, I'll might pick up her prime since it's available now.

There is another incentive to grind for her and that's by defeating the shadow grineer that appear during that boss fight might give you a good chance to get that sword and shield mod that's completely busted.

22 meter range scoliac was crazy, i knew it had to be nerfed so i sold every single maiming strike i had before it got nerfed.

Funniest part about equinox is that putting Gloom over her 1 just straight-up replaces night form.

A very easy way to make Equinox very good again is to give her the Sevagoth treatment: you can mod both day AND night seperately. And make the transfer augment for her 4th built into her kit

I remember being so disappointed after farming equinox for the first time, I thought she was such a terrible frame and deleted her. Time passed and the prime was resurged and I decided to give her another try… I understood her kit better but I just couldn’t get behind it. Fast forward to now and the release of archon shards, I’ve been able to truly understand how to use equinox effectively even with my unusual build and she is now part of my top 3 frames

Ive been a night form Equinox tank since her release. I tend to enjoy tankier warframes and i love the way she does it. Oh and her overall look is amazing.

wish they make it so when i use the augment for her 3rd ability i can swap without recasting it and in turn restack it to get full buff

Equinox, the first warframe I considered my "main" and I still love her today.

They should apply the concept used in Voruna to Equinox, she is not 2-in-1 frame in practical ways, taking advantage of both form requires steps that makes the gameplay slow and u will stick to one form most of the time if u want to keep up with your squad.

26:36 Or you can be me and do build power strength on day form for pillage with the helminth. Makes for a solid weapons platform support hybrid, really fun build but also pretty expensive with what you need. 😂 It's pretty wild that you can use pillage with overextend + stretch range. Without having to use your operator for more power strength. You could even get more range on it with a couple archon shards. Maim also gets this 300%+ strength. No need to run rolling guard as you get status cleanse and shields.

Play support Dayquinox. Peaceful Provocation with Power Donation and enough strength to boost everyone's power strength by 110% and subsume Roar for Metamorphosis for +100% damage buff. It's the only way I play her.

Similar to me but I prefer to run pillage and growing power + coaction drift as they stack together unlike power donation. Pillage replaces rolling guard and gives armor strip with either a few casts or a single cast depending on the others in your squad. Yes it sucks you have to status proc to activate it, but it allows me to get more power strength for myself for more support.

20 minute gang. I enjoyed farming Equinox Prime. The actual equinox grind was awful.

That's kind of the point tho. Day is a glass cannon and Night is a CC tank. If Day is tanky then there's no point in using Night

I’ve only ever used equinox in the circuit. I have it fully completed in my foundry but I’m leaving it there because I don’t really see myself using it like that. Plus getting the pieces you need to build her is more of a hassle than it’s worth, so I’ll just sit on it for if/when I feel like playing her again.

I farmed for Equinox long before her prime, and I refuse to go for the prime now. the regular 'Nox felt like a major achievement to complete, considering you had to essentially farm for 2 different frames for one. I don't care how much better the prime might be, it doesn't *feel* better than knowing what I did for Equinox. Honestly my favourite thing to do with her is go to Day form Equinox and press maim on that first defence node on Earth, talking to the noobs and then offering to help them out for a few hours, show them some frames and how different things work.

I never used equinox BUT after watching it vik

I used to main Equinox before I discovered Oberon back in 2018 and never changed since. My 2 biggest problems with Equinox was the fact I had to use energy to change forms when it could very well be their passive like Limbo and his rift and I couldn't bring the accumulation of mend/main to the other form whem changing. My second nitpicky was that the kinda lack of synergy in the builds for each power, like putting all of your mods for one ability and excluding the others

I absolutely love the idea of Equinox. I like everyone of her abilities, what its frustrating its how they work. 1st ability being duration based and decaying its really dumb also the buffs themselves arent really worth it(as they are now).You may say that it is because they want you to switch and made that as an incentive. Wich dosent work like that The way i would change it. Its so that the buffs become passive as long as you are in that form. And the duration its only there to keep the buffs of the previous form(without decay) wich would be a better incentive to switch between them. Since you would want the tanky buffs of night form in day form and the damage bonus(althought the damage bonues its additive to base dmg mods/arcanes). I wouldnt change anything about the augment its fine as it is. Also reduce the energy required to change between forms Her 2nd ability its fine it dosent need any changes. And its augment its a nice QoL that i use from time to time. Her 3rd its. A thing. Unless you stay in only 1 form all the time its not worth using it. Day version of it its good nice buffs so wouldnt change anything about it. Night form its where i have issues with. Its a vrey unreliable way to keep yourself alive(as it is right now). I have 2 ideas of changeing one its more just QoL change. And the other changes how it works entirely. The QoL part of it would be no dmg red fall off have only 1 ring and let duration reduce energy drain and give it a cap on the ammount the energy that can be drained.(yea duration dosent reduce energy drain on her 3rd only efficiency) The other ideea wich is more of a rework of it would be to let it be just normal damage reduction in a range around her that the allies can get as well but depending on the ammount of people in its range the energy drain increases. Also make it so that when u switch you dont get the benefits of the other forms benefits in other words dont deactivate it, and with the augment just dont remove the stacks its just annoying The augment of it its nice to have and its a good wouldnt change anything about it Her 4th its fine (energy transfer shouldnt even be a thing since thats her whole shtick changeing forms). Maybe increase the ammount of shield mend gives / kill by a bit. (Otherwise il just always subsume pillage over her metamorphosis since its a far more reliable way of keeping myself alive than mend) Thats about it i tried to keep it as short as possible. Would love to see more ideas from people since shes such a cool warframe(in concept).

I got duality before I started playing Wukong. It is pretty much the only reason I play equinox, but in a few ways I prefer it to Wuclone. It doesn't hurt me to do Duality + Energy transfer, which helps in building up Maim. It also doesn't hurt that much to cast 2 since it is a pretty low cost ability. Duality getting whatever weapon I spawn it with is great, before the ammo changes I would just alternate between Kohm and Twin Kohmak. Since I have base duration it only last 10 seconds, but it's doing things the whole time it's out and I can reposition it if it starts acting dumb. I wish I was able to utilize her 3 with duality, but at least I have access to most of the frame's kit.

its funny because this is who i run my netrocells with. i modded my range to match the exact range of the red circle when you have to kill enemies to open the doors. i can nuke within seconds thanks to my crit exodia contagion build. one to 2 shots and im at 1.5 million, terrify set on my 1 because i dont use my day form, and pop. just like that, i get netrocells done in 5-10 minutes compared to 15 to 20 when having to do it with other people honestly any frame can be made to be viable in some weird ways, but by min maxing everything i possibly can on her, i turned her inot the best nuke frame i own.

What I love about Warframe is it seems like a perpetual duel between players finding ways to break the game using literally just what the game provides, and the devs going 'o shit we should fix that'

Hearing about how Warframe used to be is incredibly weird for someone who started playing last year.. Stuff like "Builds like this made Equinox extremely overpowered, letting her solo even level 100 content." sounds hilarious now.

Well level 100+ content wasn't hard at all if you ran the go to setups, which were Narramon Shadow (Going invisible on a melee critical hit) Equinox due to her very high radius damage had a pretty easy time WITHOUT the use of the perma invis, which putting it into that perspective.. is pretty powerful.

Equinox isn't really that great of a tank. Other frames like Trinity, Chroma, Valkyr, Revenant, Yareli, etc. are much better. Pacify isn't a damage reduction, but rather a weakness debuff on enemies. You didn't make any mention of Overguard/Eximus enemies being a nerf to Equinox, since they're immune to the debuff, dealing full damage even if right next to you. Aside from that, it's still just not good enough since enemies that shoot you from afar will do full damage even if they're regular mobs, the energy drain is insanely high, and the augment takes forever to build up. The shields you get back from Mend are very little. She's okay at tanking, but I wouldn't say she's great at it.

In a steel path survival Equinox has little problems to get going with her abilities to tank, with medium strength and a decent weapon you will get the shields back instantly after killing a few enemies, using other tools in game (arcanes, subsumes etc) you WILL shrug off attacks. It's actually really comfy. But of course at a certain point you will rely on the shield refresh per kill which is late into steel path. (Sure it isn't a traditional style of tanking like Chroma Valkyr Revenant etc, but it shouldn't be disregarded in my opinion because its really nice against base steel path) As for energy Dethcube or Dispensary works perfectly fine to get your energy back up to full 24/7 (Dethcube won't die because of Mend) Also just... shoot the overguard, we have a ton of powerful weapons to one hit overguards.

How survivable a frame is definitely depends on the content you're running, sure. But in comparison to other support or tank frames, her defenses just fall short. I don't consider "just shoot the overguard" to be a good argument. Sure, a dead enemy can't hurt you, but that isn't tanking. Any frame can "just kill the enemy". She has absolutely no defense reduction against those enemies, or enemies at range, which is a big hole in her survivability. And the amount of shields restored by Mend is low enough that you have to get several kills to shield gate, even with ability strength built up, unless you're using a Decaying Key. If you're at a level where enemies are actually a danger, then that isn't so easy to do. The other mentioned frames go much further and with less difficulty before one-shotting happens.

@@lornelorne5727 Definite agree, Equinox's "tanking" ability has always been a huge meme for exactly the reasons you've stated. Mend's shield restore value is so low that you either need to really pump up that strength to the detriment of her other stats _alongside_ a dragon key to regen it in one kill, or opt for some lower value and hope needing 2 kills doesn't bite you in the ass (which it will). Restoring the shields of everyone in range is nice and you can get some funny Mend stacking with multiple Equinox (Equinox working well with herself, shocker), but it's more of a dream than a reality. I'm fine with it being a thing, but as it stands Nightquinox just feels like a worse version of Styanax, and given that any decent Equinox build focuses on primarily one form....yeah, just play Nourish-Styanax instead. Print infinite energy for your team, easy armor strip, shield-regen on kill, and Intrepid Stand gives fantastic survivability at all levels. If you ever wanna go for the 'just kill them harder, a dead enemy can't hurt you' approach then say hi to Day Form. At least Day does that job well, albeit requiring Terrify in SP.

LOL "divided" When wukong is truly a buy 1 get 2 frames and you just join a clan to get him you know DE just hate you since the grind for the normal equinox is some kind of torture, you have to farm 2 frames each one with it's own % of drop chances then build each one THEN build the final frame aaand at the end you still need a mod to split THE ONLY FRAME MADE BY 2 FRAMES... for 7 seconds, no more kiddo 🤣💀
