I think Takeover and Ether are both on the same level. Both are balanced, and there's not one better than the other. Both are disrespectful equally, however one has better disses and flow, the other one has better production, so therefore, 50/50. Keep in mind, Jay-Z has Reasonable Doubt and The Black Album, which are his 2 best projects at both having the 10/10 status, and his other albums are great, too. Em only has MMLP as his 10/10, and his other 2 albums from his first 3 album run aren't perfect at all. They're all, like, 7/10. Nas is better than Jay-Z tho.

What’s crazy about that renegade song is that Eminem did not write that song with Jay. He and Royce the 59 recorded that song first. Jay Z heard it and wanted to get on that track with Eminem. So actually, Jay Z kind of had an advantage by listening to Eminem versus first. he tried to do Eminem on a verse. The Eminem had already recorded. That is why that verse was so important because it show that Jay could not outwrap Eminem even if he heard his verse first.

With the Em GOAT convo you either have delusional em fans saying he’s the bonafide GOAT and nobody else can compete, or you got Em Discreditors who think he’s not even Top 10 (mostly because of his post 2010s run) But realistically there is no 1 rap GOAT, i think theres about 7 rappers who are in the convo and any one of them could be the GOAT with the legacy they left behind along with the Skill they carry as a rapper. And if you Dont think Em is included in that youre wrong, even if his last few years hasnt been that good he still has atleast a decade of greatness with a solid discography to match.

completely correct. There's a list of people who have an argument, Em is one of them purely on the basis of his album sales if nothing else. People also overstate how hard he fell off, as he has a decent list of strong songs even on his worst albums (killshot, darkness, rap god). Of course saying he's undisputed number 1 is just silly because there's other categories that other people lead in.

Jay don't have the same musical hunger that Kendrick and Eminem has. And to be honest I don't think he ever did. No. Eminem could beat Jay Z in a battle but Jay-Zs discography is definitely better than Eminems. Em has had too many turd albums like Kamakaze, MMLP2 and whatever else. Jay Z dropped 444, Watch the Throne and Magna Carta. Way more impact full than Eminems albums over the last decade. And stop saying Jay Z was never the best. There was a time when he had the most number 1 and top 10 billboard song and albums than any rapper in history. Plus his biggest album Blueprint dropped on 9/11/01. The day the twin towers fell. You're either too young so you dont even know any better, or you aren't as in tune with "hip hop music" as you are with "popular rap music".

Eminem dissing Kendrick is nothing to hate about. It's simply what hip hop is about and Kendrick would do the same for the sake of it. In fact he did it himself on ''Control'' dissing all the rappers he got love for simply by giving them a kick under the butt to get on track.

Yo, I'ma keep it real with ya, I'm hyped as hell for this new Eminem joint, you know what I'm sayin'? It's droppin' on the 12th of September, and I'm more than ready to bump that shit. This gon' be some straight fire, a masterpiece if you will. Ain't no conspiracy theories or who's doin' who got nothin' on me, nigga. All I care about is that sweet, sweet sound of Em spittin' bars like it's nobody's business. And let me tell ya, that track "Tobey"? Man, that shit's got him more lit than a Fourth of July BBQ. Ain't heard him go in like that since the good ol' days of the Marshall Mathers LP. Maybe even longer, 'cause that nigga's been on fire forever, you feel me? Now, I ain't no new fan or nothin', been ridin' with Slim Shady for over a decade and a half, nigga. And let me tell ya, he's the real deal, the one white boy that can rap better than your favorite rapper's favorite rapper. He's the epitome of lyricism, the king of the rap game, no doubt about it. So, when I say I'm excited, I mean I'm ready to throw a whole damn party in my ride just for this album.

It has never been a culture about numbers, Eminem is the greatest in terms of sales, not in terms of influence or cultural impact. To me he's not even in the conversation of hip-hop kings because he don't represent hip-hop and it's okay, his music always aimed at what he stood for, and it was never the culture.

@@THEK1NGSCLAN That's what I'm saying, Eminem is a dope rapper but not a good artist. I think his lyrical skills are just insane but he uses those skills in one way, saying he's the best without proving it because his whole diss catalog is aimed at weak opps, and also, his music never represented hip-hop, not the way Hov, Nas, Kenny, Big L, B.I.G., Pac, Rakim, KRS and even J. Cole represent the culture.
