Thank you for your effort to educate us . Brother now a days all battery operated bicycles available in india are restricted to speed limit of only 25 km according to law . I want to know how controller senses the speed or rpm to restrict it . Have a great day .

According to law you can't go above 25kmph speed. But you can see most of the bicycle is operated on 36v or 48v which technically provide speed of 25kmph or even more to limit the speed at 25kmph most of the controllers have one feature wire which by default limit the speed of the vehicle at certain limit In my opinion no need to do any extra modifications

@@dkhdhfgju2345 please check your controller wattage it should be more than your motor watt. Maybe the load on the motor is more than its total capacity Check wheather your motor is also getting heat or not If motor is also getting heated that means your motor reached its maximum limit.

@@pspowers but while using lead acid battery 24volt 7ah battery bicycle is running good...But when using lithium battery with bms then controller is overheating and cycle getting off ..

@@dkhdhfgju2345 find your controller uppercutoff voltage because the lead acid battery voltage is near to 24V but in liion battery the voltage range is about 27.2V

No milan it can not run without any controller unit Becuase of its mechanical and electrical hardware It needs DC pulses which was produce by switching device(mosfets) to magnetise the winding at particular interval Without controller is possible but we have to change design of hub motor

Agar motor ko pahile kabhi khola hoga To usme jo cable tie lage hote hai usse andar ki wiring jagah pr rahti hai Agar usse nikal denge to phase wire rotor ko touch hote rahte hai so usse bhi avaj ata hai Hub motor konsa hai Ebike ki motorcycle

Actually efficiency can increase by following aspects 1. Operate it with rated loading capacity (Avoid heavy loading) 2. If you are using it for bicycle application please be sure while climbing use peddling for extra push to overcome the load on motor so the motor efficiency will maintain. 3. Supply it with rated voltage 4. Always use better wiring harness and connectors Note : by monitoring and taking care of this you can improve or maintain a efficiency. (Overall efficiency can be increase by doing some modifications in hardware design) Thank you.

Sure Actually the current flowing though a coil is totally depends on the conductor diameter and length I can not explain calculation here. For motorcycle you have to use minimum 1.5kw motor Retrofitting is easy just find a mechanic nearby your city/location Use hub motors that will make your petrol bike into hybrid bike(petrol + electric)

Yes they can use as generators but they will not provide a good output Becuase their design is made for motor operation not for generation.

No it is just a sensor use to detect the magnitude of magnetic field. For smooth and linear torque accelaration need to use sinusoidal control unit.

Disc mounted hub motors ko provision hai ki vah disc ke sath mount kiye jaa sakte hai and aur ek hub motor hai jisme disc ko mount nhi kr sakte ve khas tor pr brush brake system ke liye hai

Number of slots = number of poles must have an odd number For example 20 PM = 21 slots Ratio of this numbers should be an odd number number of slot/numbers of pole = 21/20 = 1.05 If number of slots is equal to number of poles then there will be a cogging in between slots and pm I am planning to make a seperate video on design of hub motor What do you think?😄

One more thing I have to ask,,I have seen hub motors of same physical dimensions with different power output,like 250 watt as well as 500 watt have same size,, when I asked about this difference,they replied that 500 watt has more powerful PM ,but they could not answer my question that more power will need more current to flow inside the stator coils, which will heat up the stator and in long run will result in burning,, This is my guess,,what about your view?And if my view is right,then how to overcome this issue

Actually the 500watt is the peak power of the motor (if it is same size motor) Ii is not a 500w motor. Basically motors are indentify by their rated motor It will be better to ask them about the torque or loading capacity or RPM of the same size motor. You will find the answer And yes the motor will heat up if it is not a 500w ( rated ) and if operated above its rated value will also cause a major damage to it.
