Honestly compared to how some of these kids are these days that really ain’t that bad. I did weight lifting classes when I was in high school and had pretty good stamina. My best mile was 7.5 minutes.

@@grud-gurd Yep. It was always 4 laps on the track around the soccer field. I was also 15-17 when I was doing my training classes so my body was very underdeveloped. Growing up I was very skinny and probably not in the best health, but the weight training and the stamina building we did through cardio with our mile run every week helped out and I went from an average 8-9 minute mile when I was in junior high to a 7.5 by the end of my junior year in high school. Thats progress. I’m now in my early 20’s and could probably get it done in 6-7 minutes.
