How does the Three10 and Super Twin cope with a 5-string and a short scale bass?

In our previous video Alex and James compared our new Three10 with one of our trusty Super Twins going into a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0.
This time round, instead of using the Sire jazz bass, they're testing the same amp and cabs with a custom 5-string and the Reverend Wattplower (Mike Watt signature short-scale)

The twin has this midrange that I love. I’ve found with most 10” cabs I’ve played that they’re a bit too scooped or flat for my liking. They both sound wonderful, I just have different preferences than most. The 3x10 is way better than my ampeg 410he ever was though lol
Super twin baby, both are great. Or maybe, yeah super twin.
I generally have been favoring the 3x10 in other videos, but I think the super twin takes it for me in this one!
The 3x10" sounds a bit darker. I prefer this one.
I like them both. I'd be very happy with either, but if I had only one choice, I'd pick the three 10. Hmmm. Maybe the Super twin with the short scale.
Do either of you know the band CAN? Holger Czukay, plays such strong simple bass (spelt his name wrong.) singer Damo died recently.. Then how about the bass playing on Beefhearts lick my decals off baby..?.. How about the bass playing on Penis Envy by CRASS?... Chairs missing and Pink Flag by WIRE? The first RAINCOATS album?
I am a double bass player mainly that mainly slaps ( rockabilly , psychobilly style ) and struggle to get a cab that sounds right and don't know why , currently been using mark bass 4 X10 or a Warwick 2x 10 with a mark bass head trouble is one sounds boomy and muddy and the other sounds thin in the mix
