Not neccesarrily cause based on the stats, alot of times the ball just comes to him lol. And to be able to average a tripple double, you have to also average 10 assists or more sooooo.

What i got from this is, Russell is a beast and is respected more than centers and power forwards lmao. Russell is clearly goated 💪🏿💪🏿💯💯💯

Well russ was given 3 special gifts, Its his energy, his passion, and his athleticism, Just imagine Jason Kidd, with those attributes he'd put up crazy rebound stats, not like he hasn't already, russ is able to get 10 rebounds with almost 2 more quarters left to play, its not because its easy but because he has the energy and physical attributes to do so, if he didn't have the passion for it, he'll prolly average just 5, which isn't that bad but getting 10 just shows effort hahaha

I've started to think that rebounding is easier for point guards than it is for other spots on the floor. Maybe because defending points don't really box out because of the size, but when MJ played the point for a little while, he recorded a bunch of triple doubles too, while he was never an especially talented rebounder. You've got to give him some credit for going for them, right? It must take some level of awareness to understand how to get them. The Hachimura rebound is interesting because it required Russ recognizing DJ was being boxed out, and being in the air well before Rui was. Perhaps by necessity, but you don't get that board by accident. I just hope when it's all said and done we can all look back on Westbrook's career and appreciate that he was able to do this at all. Everybody is so set on tearing him down, it's kind of sad to see someone who seems to genuinely be a good guy get shit on by the entire basketball community for what seems to be no reason.

also one thing to take into account is this whole scheme is coach's plan too. billy donovan know that he got the a point guard with crazy athleticism and high energy, also the strongest center who can box out anyone. so with steven adams boxing out the opponent and russ grabing the rebound and leading to fastbreak, its literally the most efficient way to recover on offense.

I was up late and saw a random video of Russell Westbrook and looked at his stats for fun. I was curious how tf did he get all those rebounds at 6'3? This video was perfectly made for my random brain at 3am 😂 thanks fam

Another amazing video bro! I kinda wanna see a playoff video of some sort for this year's playoffs that would be cool. As for the video, its clear that Russ' entire game isn't really built for winning and he's a somewhat of a liability on the court. But he can have his triple double if thats what makes him feels happy. it gives him an identity, a crappy one, but an identity.

@@kipkame hell yeah, I saw another KZreadr went from 50k to 600k subscribers then his channel died down. He continued working and making content and he fell in favor of the algorithm around and his rocking 1.1m subscribers now.

As many rebounds as he gets, you would never take him as a rebounder over many players who get less rebounds than him. here’s no way I’m taking Westbrook over Steven Adams for rebounding, who gets so many contested rebounds. No way I’m taking him even over Lebron if I’m playing at the park and need a rebounder.
