I was thrilled when Jon Stewart came back to host The Daily Show. He is a National Treasure. His wit and wisdom is infectious and the relentless work he did for the 9-11 first responders compensation was heroic. I love this man❤

He convinced Republicans to vote to extend benefits to 9/11 First Responders. He would have never achieved that across the aisle. He’s not needed in office.

Jon Stewart would be insane to run for office and would become disillusioned rather than just acerbic. His nature is not to compromise with people with other views, and that is daily life in politics - which is why Congress has become so dysfunctional and obdurate.

I agree with John. I can state with confidence that I can definitely commit to one day a week of work outside of my house.

Just in the few new episodes I have watched with Jon Stewart back, especially the most recent Gettysburg WOW compared to his 7th grade book report D-, I can safely say we need you back and it is fun.

We share the same thought process. I also think once a week would be enough of people for me and them.....alas I still work 5 days a week.

I'm definitely of Jon Stewart's inclination socially. I very deeply relate! I love to socialize and discuss deep issues, but my social battery only allows me to spend so much time on anyone other than my immediate family, and occasionally with close friends. I had a dream last night that he came back but was in his 20's (after previously being in his 60's) looked a lot like Michael Costa and everyone got mad at him, ending the show early. I think it was because he de-aged himself, his personality regressed in maturity and everyone wasn't having it. Not sure what that dream means🤷
