I honestly think Rocksteady should’ve done Gotham knights and kept it in the Arkham universe. WB should’ve taken Suicide squad.

The plan originally was for wb to do SS, as it was teased after Origins. And RS doing Knights would have worked so well. The premise of Batman being "dead" was already there with the Knightfall protocol. Gameplay, too. There's like what? 20 mins per each character worth of dlc story in AK, and they already have better gameplay than in knights.

Well, WB has much better character designs, Rocksteady makes most things too "punky". You can, for example, compare Penguin, who looks cool in WB games and cringy in Rocksteady ones. And, as we all can see now, Rosksteady has also forgotten how to make a good story and gameplay.

Rocksteady is also under WB bro 😅 And WB has full rights to make Arkham games like Arkham origins ... Arkham , Gotham knights etc etc are all in control under WB .. Rocksteady is nothing but a developer .. At the end of the WB everything's under WB control

A cool detail that a lot of people miss is that all the characters do actually go out at the same time. You just don’t run into them. But occasionally when doing missions you can get a call from one of them mentioning what they’re doing around the city while you’re doing your own thing. I don’t entirely remember when or how I got it, but I remember it happening

Yeah you are right like that nightwing memory story thing where you go and find red hood on a rooftop and nightwing falls off and tricks him and also after the man bat fight when alfred tells you they all went out already

This game would have been a masterpiece if WB didn't rush it .. ( re development from live service to single player at the last moment really hurts the game at launch) When it was released it was just a pure broken unpackaged game .. Recently I've been playing this game a lot and I'm loving it , I love the story , lore and it's awesome if u do some missions with online friends.. It's really need new dlc

Great review! I must admit, the underrated part of this game is Co-op! I have met so many cool players doing Quick Match in Heroic Assault - (PC and Xbox) so my friends list is long. I try to stream it at least once or twice a week here on KZread... so I can record the fun we are having!

I agree, co-op is where this game shines! Four players in Heroic Assault (Kelvin Incident) have been a life saver. That level can be a challenge if you haven't did any crafting or mods.

I just got it for $13.99 and its worth every penny. Good for a break from my Soulslike games.

I loved Gotham knights and I think it’s a great game the thing that I think kinda ruins all games like it is when you try to have multiple characters because you can’t give each a complex fighting system and skill tree or anything so they all just have to be copy and pasted so you can experiment with different characters if they were all different you would need four tutorials every time you switch character another example is when in infamous second son you 3/4 different powers so you don’t have one complex powers you have multiple copy and pasted

Judging by this comment I’m guessing your one of those suicide squad haters because personally I can’t see how you would prefer the story of gotham to suicide squad the characters seemed more fleshed out and Personally I enjoyed the gameplay and story of suicide squad more than gotham knights I got half way through the story for it and it just felt bland and slow the characters I wasn’t invested in I liked playing as red hood but apart from that everyone else felt pretty similar both games have flaws no question but suicide squad definitely dosnt deserve half of the hate it’s getting

I recently replayed the game and it's honestly not bad. The side missions were quite good and the bosses at the end of the case files were so diverse and Clayface and Mr Freezes missions were interesting with Clayface having his amnesia and thinking Bruce was still alive

same thought i had when i downloaded it a few days ago, just made me want to play the arkham games tho

I think the story left a lot to be desired especially considering the source material. But I do think the combats great not amazing. Once you get a flow and start combing abilities with combat it becomes enjoyable. Just look at a person who knows how to use robin or night wing on a high level and you’ll see what I mean

Yes! I am still working on hitting combos right so that the character can run up and do a quick take down after doing two attacks. The fun one is getting Nightwing to "take a selfie with a criminal" - I keep trying to figure out the combo to launch that.
