This game really just reduces Jason to "guy with guns" doesn't it? Jason was a Robin, he's an expert martial artist and knows how to use dozens of weapons. He's also meant to be pretty smart, he has his own personal library in Wayne Manor. He's not just a dumbass who shoots people

Haven't watched the full video yet but I have played the game and can say that it didn't really true. Nearly all story bits for him is either about books or how the lazarus pıt affected him. The only character to actually have a good story and only character to actually went through a growth in the game.

@@DragonKnight7166 because Batman's character inspires respect. The penguin, two-face, Bane, Ra's al ghul even the joker would never piss on Batman's dead body. It's also depends on the character if Batman graped the villians wife and killed his family it would make sense for the villian to hate him enough to defile him. But Batman doesn't do that. And if you knew even an ounce of anything about Ra's al ghul(or even if you saw the cutscene) you'd know Ra's respects Batman. So much so that even after knowing his secret identity he doesn't reveal it out of respect for him. He declares Batman as his heir even.

Her design in the Arkham Games (I consider this game to be the last entry of the universe and not the trash that shouldn't be named) are always absolutely banger (she awoke something in me when I first played those games when I was 12 ngl)

@@johnoneil9188 that wasn't a stealth attack, it was an aerial attack, which is just meant to be a quick damage dealer to start a fight. You can do a proper stealth attack that instantly takes down enemies if you: 1 - Sneak up behind them. 2 - Are in an elevated platform that still leaves you close to the target (if you're far you're just going to perform an aerial attack). 3 - If you fly above you target using a traversal ability

I love this game personally. With 2 people, it’s fun on another level. I play Red Hood, and my sister Nightwing, and we just do patrols and whatnot, we find it so fun though. It hurts me to see that people think it’s so bad

I 100% agree Freddy! My brother and I have been playing this game since November 2022 in Co-Op mode and have racked up over 400 hrs of play! Co-Op is really the under-rated part of Gotham Knights. I wish someone would put more videos out about the co-op fun!

To its credit this game did give batman a better death scene by leagues than suicide squad did It also had more respect for the characters of this universe too I think thats why people appreciate it in comparison more now I just like all things batman and while its not my favorite i do love playing as the batman family. And it has good gameplay. It isnt terrible. A little above average game. Around 6

Just finished a Red Hood playthrough of Gotham Knights and after going in with tempered expectations, I genuinely enjoyed it. Far from a perfect game, but it had some fun moments and I'm looking forward to a replay as Batgirl so I can get a fresh set of cutscenes and the story from a different perspective. (Certainly helps I got the deluxe edition on sale for $30 CAD).

Cool, I beat the story with Nightwing, then Robin, NOW I just started a new game plus and plan to play through with Batgirl! I have logged over 300 hrs of Co-Op play with my brother. Honestly, Co-op is so fun, I only play Gotham Knights when I have a co-op player with me! It is hours of fun in Co-op and in both Heroic Assaults.

Do the cutscenes actually change based on who you’re playing. As far as I can tell the little quips when investigating stuff is the only real difference. Why play the game 4 times to play each character when you can do all of their personal stories in one playthough, even if you main one person the whole game and then do the other three as clean up. I’m having fun with the game, but from what I can tell it’s not nearly as replayable as other games.

Gotham Knights is definitely not worth full price, but worth checking out on a very generous sale (or sailing the seven seas)

LOVE this game. So so much fun. There’s a reason I was within the first 10 to 100% the DLC and the first 100 to 100% base game.

I like Gotham Knights. It's by no means perfect or anything, but I enjoyed traversing Gotham as Red Hood and shooting stuff and I really loved the Court of Owls stuff. There should have been more instanced missions like that. But I don't care what anyone says, I like this :D

Loved the opening scene with the CGI battle leading up to his death

I actually enjoyed the game. Yeah Jason kind of "shoot them up" doesn't really stick well but gotta remember this was shortly after his resurrection so still has some anger to deal with but slowly reopens up, which was nice. Grayson is lacking his "motherly touch". Barbara is dealing with her own grief and slowly works through it. Tim doubts himself a lot while he works on his grief with Batmans death and proves to himself that he can still be Red Robin. Yeah some.plot elements don't make sense, but that's true even in the comics. Overall to me it's a 8/10 game with a bunch of replay ability. :)

I had fun with the game. At release, yes, it was very unpolished, and it was surely not ArkamGame, but for me was fun. Especially the combat, if u not compare it with Arkam, was actually really fun. I mostly played with Robin.

Only reason people play GK is because of Barbara's cake.

Gotham Knights is not live service it just has an optional co-op mode. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the live service game.

For the record. Tim Drake is my favorite Robin.

It's better than Kill the Justice League, but that's like saying packaged oatmeal with occasional toppings is better than the worst breakfast food from your most hated restaurant chain. The occasional toppings being the short cut scenes in this that show respect for the bat family as a family.

I ended up playing this game twice bought it on sale on Xbox had fun then picked it up on a PlayStation sale months later
