If we are talking about Robocop for fams, it will be a 9/10 but for general users, it was around 6/10. The biggest reason why general users dont like as fans did because the quality of AI was bad and they just lack the polish right now. While combat was fun and awesome, it become tedious and boring on mid-late game due repetition kicks in. I just hope Devs will fixed this issue on next update with better quality on AI with some new mechanics added, there are some skills avaiable but it was totally useless because either it was used 1 time or it still dont implemented yet on current version.

@@zeroxwarrior honestly I think it’s just due to the smaller chain of information. Game design doesn’t need to go through so many higher ups to clear the development. The directors of game development can actually go in person to discuss with the team about what needs to happen. It’s not nearly like playing a game of telephone through development.

The "splort" sound head shots make. The blood flows down the wall, not just a decal that pops up. Limbs come off in explosions. This game is so much fun

I really don't get the relentless positivity surrounding this game from so many different reviewers and channels and comments, are we so beaten down by terrible AAA games that mediocre shit gets praised heaped upon it? That buggy and stuttering mess is forgiven because "at least it isn't Activision or Ubisoft making it"? The game to me really doesn't "feel" like Robocop at all, there's certainly no hyperviolence and gore, no limbs being blown off in that respect it feels like COD4 Modern Warfare as even World at War implemented limb destruction on certain weapons and explosives, indeed Call of Duty is an apt comparison because you don't really move much like a robot and the nature of it being an FPS where you control it you don't aim like a robot either, the game really feels no different to play than any Call of Duty with this occasional, pointless, Kingdom Come Deliverance camera shot of Robocop and the option to say a line of dialogue that you choose. When it comes to showing what I mean about this being a pretty shoddily made, average shooter there's no better moment than the rave where you think the game is about to actually challenge you, a crowd full of innocents that you're not allowed to kill, and you must hit just the bad guys. *Except that the entire crowd simultaneously does the exact same panicked animation, turns 180 degrees and runs out of the room without being targeted by the bad guys, nobody trips over each other, there's no wave of people at the back seeing it first and being able to escape but those at the front being trapped, everyone just immediately leaves and it becomes YET ANOTHER shooting gallery* I get WHY they had to make the movement quicker, because they wanted it to be an open world game where you don't drive, I get why they put in these limp handholding "investigations" that are even more on rails than LA Noire cases are, but these are still BAD decisions, I didn't force them to choose to make a game about a character where the accurate experience deviates from what or how games are usually played, there's a reason people don't generally make games that force the player to slowly walk around, especially in shooter action, so they put in a comical sprint, and have cutscenes to move the player to new locations, and it all just starts to feel pointless. I'm just baffled by why THIS game it is excused it, I can only assume because of the rose tinted spectacles, people want a game about Robocop so they're willing to forgive so many of the flaws, I feel I'm more objective in my assessment of it precisely because I had no interest in Robocop, I don't dislike the idea I think a good game could be made in various different categories about it, but for me it just really isn't a good game, it's a painfully average FPS that if it had any generic futuristic cop story and branding I know people would be bashing for its failures.

I love how all the helper characters in missions do actual damage and are totally competent. It's so rare for a game to let the NPCs be capable for fear of making the player feel less powerful, but if you just sit back and don't do anything, Lewis (and other characters later on) will absolutely clear out the area on their own. Instead of making NPCs weak to preserve the power fantasy, they just decided to make Robocop _even stronger_ to similar effect. God, what a great game.

“I am more human that you’ll ever be” is a thing Robocop would totally say to criminals.

The moment the theme song started playing while blasting bad guys, the power behind nostalgia made me cry. You can tell people who made this game knew what they we're doing.

Awesome! I sadly find that those beautiful bad-ass moments are so rare, far and few between that they're all the more special when they come by. 😃 DESPITE how many "power fantasy" games that are brought out. 🙄😬 We need more games made by more people that love the IP and don't have meddling suits pushing release dates, enforcing insane amounts of crunch and constantly changing the scope like those decisions made off the back of "Something really cool I saw on TV last night" didn't just invalidate days of hard work by people who haven't been able to see their families, but NOW need to spend MORE days building, testing and implementing some bullshit a suit who too often knows/cares very little about video game design and is only focused on sales. 😒😔

This game is great because on top of just being genuinely fun it feels like you’re in the movie. All the effects are over the top, limbs explode into gore when shot, you feel like a big clunky robot man and all of the guns are satisfying to use.

Kid:”Is that man going to arrest me?” Robocop:😐👍

In a world full of rushed and lazy cash-grabs, RoboCop comes out of nowhere with this gem. Graphics are last gen and gameplay is mid at best, but the love and nostalgia from this game is peak.

I think the gameplay is like 50% mid and 50% peak, depending on how far away the enemies are and whether or not you've unlocked the slow mo and dash abilities, and the full auto upgrade for your pistol. Up close, the game sets a pretty high bar for shooty fun with the over the top ultraviolence, the dummy strong punch and the grab-and-throw hijinks with any enemy dumb enough to close the distance to freakin ROBOCOP. Far away, it's just aight. Long range doesn't feel like anything special, and if you pick up a dedicated long range weapon, you're giving up an insanely satisfying shotgun or LMG for a very underwhelming increase in effectiveness over your infinite pistol. Although, hurling a dumpster ninety yards to dome an obnoxious sniper on a rooftop is always cathartic.

He’s saying you spelt it wrong. A Judge Dred game would be amazing. One based off the comics, not the Stallone movie. I liked the movie, but it didn’t really capture Dred. The newer movie actually did better.

The gore and reactions to the gore in this game gives me huge, HUUUUUGE Soldier of Fortune vibes. Which is a good thing. That game was so ahead of its time, and now we have the modern tech to make more realistic people scream in agony after blowing off their legs.

Kudos to the devs for getting it right. The game doesn't have the best next gen graphics but it does make you feel like your actually Robocop. Plus, they didn't sh*t on the source material.

I really love this game. It can be a little… unpolished at times of my Series X but it lets you enjoy being RoboCop.

It’s everything you can ever want from a robocop game. Later missions will make you feel like an absolute badass. You even try to compete with an ED-209 to see how many you kill before you reach the objective.

Finally, a good game for once

This is the RoboCop experience that we've always needed but not deserved... until now.

Wow. Saw this on Steam and just assumed it was bad, being a Robocop game and all. It looks like it's a blast! I'm gonna get it. Thanks, Kev!

I finished a playthrough of Robocop and it really did stay fantastic the whole way through. A game clearly made by people prioritizing fun and having fun, too.

I often put your videos on while I’m driving back and forth to work and I frequently have to find somewhere to pull over as I’m laughing so hard it becomes unsafe for me to drive. I don’t know why but one of the funniest things to me is when you call random characters in the game by oddly specific names like Carl or Steve. It isn’t just your content though, your delivery of lines in different tones and voices clearly demonstrates you have true comedic talent!

I love how the devs of this game captured the feeling of the original robocop to a T. If only more game developers were so respectful to their IP's.

It's such a good game my only advice is to make sure you walk all around the location your on because if you miss an npc mission it will fail.

It horrifies me that this movie licensed game has more detail in it than Modern Warfare III (2023) ... the timeline is cursed.

First we got Terminator Resistance, now this game. Teyon is really giving love to these classic movies. I really hope they get another shot at Rambo, their first game was godawful but they've more than redeemed themselves and deserve another chance at the franchise.

Man, how did RoboCop's brain survive that fall?! It's still a human brain, that thing's gonna be bouncing around his new metal skull, getting covered in all kinds of contusions.
