Great video, will take your class! Quick burning question. Is there a way to query Ad Works or whatever for my niche to see what topics are trending higher paying ads so I can create solid content around that to drive better ads to my site? to use your example of a camping site, it is fall so tents are down5 cents a click, but winter boots are up $1.15 a click, I may want to write about winter backpacking in the mountains and the importance of proper boots and socks.

Yes, various tools let you do this for a price. But Google Keyword Planner tells you this data for free. ads.google.com/home/tools/keyword-planner/

Yes you can! Usually I would not do that though, it's better to generate more leads for your business instead to make more money.

How comes you don’t use mediavine or any other high EPC networks to place ads on your site? With your amount of traffic I know that you already know of these networks but I want to know why you still choose to stick to Google Adsense ???

Hey Leon - I actually looked into this and they specifically told me they didn't think they could do better than current earnings. I think I'm in one of the very few niches that Adsense performs better than most Ad Networks. That said, Mediavine and others are typically better than Adsense, but it's always worth it to test.

@@OneHourProfessor oh wow that's interesting to know. I currently pull about 6k visits a month with my site and growing but was waiting till 10k visits to sign up to Ezoic. would you say its worth just placing Adsense on the site form now and testing to see my ROI at this mark now?

@@leonangus1 You could. Odds are you'll make maybe $25-$50 per month assuming $8/EPM. You could also just throw some ads on the top 3-5 visited pages manually if you wanted to as well. May be better than pushing across the whole website.

Google Ads is for driving traffic. Adsense is code you put on your site to make money.

I'm giving myself a chance to learn something like this, who knows? Maybe this will be my full-time job after a years or so.

You can adjust adsense settings, but generally, they choose them for you. You usually want this as they choose the ones that'll make you the most money.

You're supposed to use the same Adsense account for all websites you own. So that would be 100% fine!

No, Adsense is 100% click based. You are only paid when someone clicks on an ad. There is impression based ads here though: www.buysellads.com/

If you apply for Adsense for your KZread and they don’t accept your application, how can you find out what you need to do to have them accept your request? If it happens, it blocks the ads. That said, hasn't had a big impact on my revenue and I don't think majority of people do it.

Yea, I don’t think anyone should worry about it. Out of our control, quite honestly. I’m sure a few people have it enabled and my ads are blocked, but majority definitely don’t.

At 1000 subs, you’ll be able to monetize so long as you hit the watch time limit. Until then, no need to apply.

I think that's a great idea, especially if you already have some success. I would put Adsense on, but I would definitely try to setup a way to sell leads to the driving schools, I'll bet you can make more doing that.

I hate to be "that guy", but it depends. I've seen one work better than the other on a few occasions. I typically prefer Adsense, but sometimes Media.net is better. You need to test to see.
