katie kawaii I saw a lot of comments like ‘ her brother is real genius and she use him she only sing and doesn’t write anything she is a puppet and doesn’t know play any instruments etc.’. no you don’t know anything about their working relationship. And only guessing and spreading false theories.They write together. Finneas co-writes and produces them. She can play a lot of instruments like piano ukulele and guitar you can see a lot of videos of her from instagram lives that she was playing and writing.She has produced some parts too. Only co-writer and producer on album is finneas. People have 30 songwriters and producers but when a 17 years old girl writes her songs with her brother it becomes a problem. People just like hating on teenage girls who are successful. Why everyone thinks it’s not their hard working or their creation when they see a female artist? It’s soo sexist and ignorant to assume it without knowing anything about them. Finneas said countless times that he thinks billie is the most hard working 14 15 16 years old and deserving all the love and success and she doesn’t need to take credit of something finneas did because she already makes so much work.Their relationship is so precious and they support each other soo much. Billie always talk about Finneas and gives him credit if he isn’t with her. So why are you insult one of them when you can appreciate both of their talent and hard work?

I wouldnt say he lacks ego, but it's easy to see that they have a system, and at the end of the day they are family. Seems like they won't let that kind of thing ruin their relationship. I definitely respect that

Completely agree. I also really respect how Billie brings him up in just about every interview. They'll bring up something like "Ocean Eyes," and she'll immediately bring up how her brother wrote that song. She also constantly says how much more talented he is than she is (she's probably a better singer, while he's probably a better songwriter and general musician). Finneas has the best job in the world right now. He gets to do his passion while not dealing with half the B.S. I'm sure Billie has to deal with.

I don‘t think he is underrated. He‘s been the world‘s best songwriter for a big part of this year and is well respected in the music industrie. Artists like Camila Cabello ask him to write songs for them. He‘s just not as famous as his sister. And I think he doesn‘t want to be because he said himself he feels bad for her since she can‘t walk out the house without beeind mobbed.

I think they they’re both incredibly talented. HOWEVER, if you look at the artists who stay successful and popular, they usually have “versatile” voices. What I mean is they can sing sad songs, love songs, party anthems, happy bops etc. Billie has a beautiful voice, and she sounds amazing singing sad, haunting songs but I can’t picture her singing for example, shelter. Regardless of who’s more talented, I believe finneas will be more successful in the long run because he can sing potentially anything and his voice works with most. 💜

Probably not easy to do as it spans two octaves... Billie starts as low as she can, and gets quite high on "but nothing ever stops you leaving". Of course if Finneas was singing, it'd be lower, so maybe it all evens out? But I totally agree, have thought I'd love to hear him perform it.

He's incredibly successful both as a producer/writer for his sister and as a solo artist. I really don't get hardcore stans who obsess about how many views a video has or whether or not a song is on the top 100/how high up. As long as an artist is doing well enough that they're happy and can focus on their art then why does it matter?

If anything, a huge amount of fame seems to sometimes be a distraction/obstacle for artists (not that it would necessarily be for him, but it can).

He is a good brother, its beautiful relationship 💖

Glad Finneas is getting his own shine, but don't feel bad for him. In the music industry, producers get 50% of the revenue from songs, and the other half goes to songwriters. Considering he's a songwriter and producer, that's 75% of the money off of every song they make. They're family, so it's probably more balanced, but you get the point. He also gets that show money. He's good.

vaughn amir. Where on earth are you getting 50% of revenue from? That’s literally insane and unheard of. No producer in the history of recorded music has ever received 50% direct revenue. Ever. Aside from advances, the record royalty for a music producer is usually between 3% and 4% of the record’s sales price, or 20% to 25% of the artist's royalties. 50 points in an album is literally more than the label itself would have.
