My reel wouldn't loosen the drag. I watched your video and took it apart. The top metal washer and felt washer were stuck together. I separated them and smoothed them a bit with sandpaper. Also the bottom metal washer was warped. I straightened it a bit and put it back together. Now I have working drag adjustability!

Can you disassemble the drag knob? I throw mine into the water first cast of the day. Looking to 3D a new one. Couldn’t find any replacement for sale.

How Do Fix The Drag Tension Mine Doesnt Sound

My drag won't loosen can't pull any line out. It's like the drag is as tight as can be, brand new reel . I'm wondering what can be defective on such a simple design!! I bought the reel and rod together about 2 or 3 years ago and used it for the first time yesterday. The poor fish didn't have a chance no chance of them pulling line out, all that I could do was muscle the fish in. LOL one good thing it's cheap to buy another

@@Tree-vis Yes thanks. I did get it working FINALLY !! The washers and felt washers were in wrong and it wouldnt work. I staggered them and it woked fine!
