It would’ve been cool if we can actually see the transformation of his phase like Mommy Long Legs. Edit: It’s just the gas. It tricked the player into thinking that’s his true form but is actually just hallucinations, kinda like with hallucination Huggy Wuggy.

Fun fact: The skeleton looking one is called "Hypnagogic Catnap" (Hypnagogia is that state of mind when you're awake, about to fall asleep, typically that falling feeling) This is because its not really their true form, the gas is making you sleepy, causing hypnagogic hallucinations that catnap is even more decrepit then he actually is

red gas* it was created for catnap critter, but it was removed due kids after gas got nightmares instead of fast sleep. damage already done to company, so removing him wont do much.

Did you know? Catnap looked like a bone-creature from being in the red gas to much, also if you look at his body at this time you can see heads, hands and other thing piercing through the skin as if those were the victims that he ate.

when he comes though the door, after he breathes out the red smoke out of his mouth, if you focus on getting that blue battery in the part where u r suppose to put it, u can still see him turn into that distored creature without using mods/hacks

that version of catnap is called "hypnagogic" which is a state of awake and sleepy at the same time, if you don't sleep for like 2 days you can actually have illusions, but this works when you're on a big amount of anesthetics in its gaseous form, you may also have some hallucinations.

I want to take this comment to truly thank the rizz man for this video, usually these videos are like "WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE PLAYER LEAVES? WOW THE MONSTER DISSAPEARS I WONDER WH-". But this was very informative, and I like that you basically created a working new area of the game that can be played, even a unique chase scene that I think would be appropriate in the game (1:49, 2:15). It's also incredible work by Mob Entertainment to include the way back outside to the playcare, and then as you go down into the middle, there is a jumps scare revealing that your escape was a hallucination the whole time, it's cool that you can leave in general, I like this layed back game design sometimes. Great job!
