About Video:-
When the fuel is burnt in the cylinder of the engine, it is thrown out of the exhaust system. When this burnt fuel comes out of the cylinder, its temperature is very high and it contains very harmful gasses, so it is first sent to the catalytic converter.
A catalytic converter converts harmful gasses like nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide hydrocarbons into less harmful gasses carbon dioxide water and nitrogen
A muffler is placed in front of the catalytic converter, which is also called a silencer, the muffler also tunes the noise and also reduces the noise.
In this video, how the catalytic converter and muffler work after burning the fuel, its working has been explained with the help of 3D animation.

Its a petrol engine In a petrol engine, fuel and air both are compressed with a spark, while in a diesel engine, only air is compressed, and fuel is injected in compressed air. Petrol engine works on otto cycle and diesel engines works on diesel cycle While diesel engines have compression ratio upto as higher as 25 :1 so it does not required spark plug while gasoline engines have compression ratio around 12:1 fuel can not burns by itself so additional spark plug required to ignite fuel
