    The 'ei' sound in most Germanic languages is the long vowel sound 'i'. It's technically Bil-shtyne, but honestly, I don't think anyone is checking.

    @bcatz454 most people (especially americans) say it that way. Bilstein is a German company though, so to follow in the german language ei=ie in english and ie=ei respectively. Thus, "die" in german is pronounced "dee", or (more relative to the subject matter) "stein" is pronounced as "stine".

    The rubber bellows offer no protection to the rod plunger. Like a CPU, a shock should have a dual or quad core, etc. This would allow extremely heavy loads. We'll leave it to Ron Jeremy to decide which shock is better. Bilstein or Monroe.
