It is a good idea to combine moving spots and moving washes!

I have learned that for the most part, your deep saturates 96% of the time I'll do on our LED pars, and bars.

Honestly the output lost with CMY fixtures isn't a big deal at all IF, you have enough of them for your space, and have lighting fixtures that are kinda "overpowered" for your space! SO CMY fixtures have an LED engine that produces a brighter beam in open white than we would need for a 200 seat space w/ a 28x12" ft stage, with an 8 ft trim...BUT all that extra output comes in so handy when you mix deep colors, like the red in the example! I will also say that for most vivid blues and purples we find it's important to keep the intensity at full, if you needed more flexibility with the overall brightness of certain colors, look at a fixture that's more in the 500 to 600w LED engine class.

Very nice vid, but very weird results for the sisma and spectra, we have those 2 fixtures and the sisma absolutely crushes the spectra even on white not to talk about colors, in red the spectras are pretty much useless while the sismas can bring absurd ammounts of light to the room

Sounds like these fixtures you have are not of comparable output power. It is not just about physical size or even the wattage, but also about how bright it is, and how wide the light spreads.
