While looking for new card ideas I came across the Split Card Design. Man, what a beautiful card! I’m going to teach you how to make this card and don’t worry-it may look hard to make but it’s not. I have two different cards to share that will spark your own creative juices!
The first Split Card Design features the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight (both stamp set and dies) and I used bright spring and summer colors-Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Garden Green. Perfect for the season don’t you think?!
How to make a split card design?
👉 Start with Basic White Thick cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".
👉 Next, starting from the bottom of the card front cut off six 1/2" strips.
👉 Use masking paper to add the strips back to the card as shown in the video tutorial.
