I love how it's not impossible that the reason why humans have domesticated so many other species successfully isn't because of our intelligence, or ruthlessness, or resourcefulness... It's because every other animal loves how good our hands are for petting XD

Fun fact, pigeons are one of the very very very few creatures whose lungs can withstand high temperatures. We can’t. Pigeons are capable of with standing around 120°. Our lungs would fail at that point. We can barely even withstand 110. Pigeons are definitely pretty interesting on the evolution of the latter.

The wrath of our Heavenly Father GOD is almost here, repent of your sins in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and put your faith in Jesus Christ only. The only one who can save you from death is Jesus Christ The Son of GOD, every knee will bow to Him. Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. Time is running out. Matthew 24:3-14 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Everything written is being fulfilled. Revelation 12:1-2 1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. Information: Revelation 12 sign explained. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gYaK1NVtpJipgbA.htmlsi=A_fYnsvhCiz8t2ej Information: The woman. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dqiY086FZb2Xkco.htmlsi=zP2a7fLSNxq7MCNT This sign has already appeared in the sky as described in the Bible, this is a warning, the wrath of The Lord is about to be unleashed upon all disobedience. Time is over, repent of your sins, the only way to salvation is Jesus Christ, trust Him and have faith in Him. We are going to be taken up to The Lord. Woe to the nuclear families separated at the time of separation. Mathew 24:29-31 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ 30 At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31 And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. Information: War. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iq6Asq2mdJrcoMo.htmlsi=6YCpnM4kk9gwUD3G kzread.info/dash/bejne/haqatNmJqpTNp7g.htmlsi=KVEV8M4EBwPlSdWL Daniel 9:26-27 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. ” Information: Links about the sacrifice. kzread.info/dash/bejne/f4qksbhyo8avZ6w.htmlsi=jYHxjYTEqjI3FlQH kzread.info/dash/bejne/nKWh1LeFYNuvp7Q.htmlsi=6iORDjxoh2LIN4lH Do not let anyone mark your skin or brand you. Do not let anyone put anything inside your skin. The government will deceive you, and your soul is in danger of death, do not take the mark of the beast. I sincerely warn you , flee as far as you can from the mark of the beast , do not take it. There is no coming back from it. Revelation 13:15-17 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. Revelation 14:9-11 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand, 10 the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out unmixed into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Do not take the mark of the beast. Taking that mark will put your soul to death for eternity. Run away from it. 2 Thessalonians 2:5-12 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. DO NOT BELIEVE ON THOSE THINGS YOU SEE ON TV AND THOSE (UFO 🛸 objects), THOSE THINGS ARE PART OF THE GREAT DELUSION, DO NOT BELIEVE ON WHAT THEY COME UP WITH SAYING ABOUT IT. PUT YOUR FAITH AND TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST ONLY, THE CHURCH IS ABOUT TO GO HOME AND WHOEVER TELLS THE LIE WILL MOST LIKELY BLAME THOSE THINGS FOR OUR DISAPPEARANCE. The people, have been lied to their whole lives about the truth. I have warned you ahead of time. We are entering into 7 years of wrath upon the whole earth. No man has ever seen the disaster that will arrive now. The RAPTURE of The Church is about to happen. Do not be left behind. REPENT OF YOUR SINS. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life, HE is the door to heaven! , put your faith and trust in Him. Be ready, watch carefully. God bless the Nation of Israel and God bless you, may The Lord keep you and your family safe , in Jesus' name. Amen. Mathew 23:37-39 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling! 38 Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39 For I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’ Accept our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which is The Son of The Living and only God and trust in Him only, and then you will be delivered from evil. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lY5119OPhKy0lrg.htmlsi=peerqP2B2QInELYQ

Pigeons are incredibly smart, so it had no reason to be afraid once it figured out that nobody was trying to hurt it and there were snacks involved. That's a big part of the reason pigeons and doves are usually the first birds to hang out with people feeding birds at the park... they're clever enough to assess the risk and understand that the big scary primates aren't actually that dangerous to them most of the time.

There's a wild pigeon I feed by hand once in a while. He will take bread right from my hand but I still can't pet him. I can't even move my finger without him jumping. He will eat out of my hand all day tho. This pigeon in the video is rare.

For those who don't know so much abt pigeons: they have been domesticated for centuries so they're much more easier to care other than domestic parrots (I'm just saying that a parrot is harder to care than a dog and a cat- you have to watch keep track of a parrot's health at all times)

  • @PeeperSnail

If I’m allowed to get controversial IMO people should straight up stop trying to get parrots (except for maaaaaybe budgies) and instead should get some pigeons or chickens instead. Parrots are not domesticated animals. They can be tamed, but that’s not the same as being domesticated. Most species of parrots kept as pets have needs so demanding that living indoors as a household pet is just not suitable for them. They’re also extremely loud and destructive, and they live almost as many years as we do. Compare that to both pigeons and chickens. They’re fully domesticated and perfectly capable of living as household pets without issue. Their needs are very easy to meet and bonding with them is much easier and more rewarding. Their shorter lifespans are sadly a bit of a drawback, but they average around the same ammount of years as an average dog or cat, so if you can commit to those you can absolutely commit to a pigeon or a chicken.

@@PeeperSnail I'm pretty shure even ravens would make a less demanding pet than parrots, parrots are only pets because they are colorful and "pretty" but there weren't ANY effort whatsoever at properly domesticating them. There should be an option to loop video there :) After you've looped it when you go onto the three dots it should say 'on' which lets you know you've definitely looped it. It'll go off from loop if you exit the video or pick a new one so it won't automatically loop. Hope this helps some!

I used to live in Vienna, Austria. In Schönbrunn Park around the old Habsburg Palace, there's this giant monument to the homing pidgeons they used to breed. The pigeons they bred interbred with the wild ones and the result was, that all over Vienna you now have the most beautiful colors in the feather coats of the birds. I have never seen pigeons that diverse in color and patterns, ever again, no matter the city/place.

People throwing thrash on the ground, bins don't get cleaned etc. Dirty areas attract animals and insects.

And I meant trees like the only thing you can modify which houses their nests safely, of course they nest in rooftops, but who would tear their house or shops down? Those places full of poop are also mostly in public places, cut down the need of public workers to clean it around, it must be gross. And even after all this, if we are most impartial, in the city, they pollute the environment in some way, still stereotipically behaving like any plague animal, like humans, agressive geese, or well, rats that often populate dirty places and leave a lot of feces lying around

The males puff their chests up when they’re trying to get with a girl pigeon. Pigeon tinder! They also puff up and go all fluffy and cute when they want to get/keep warm! They also save on food waste by eating up leftovers and crumbs. They also don’t steal food, unlike seagulls. They waddle and scrat around. They bob their heads when they walk.
