Drawing from my 15 years of ministry experience, I share a personal anecdote of when I had to leave a church I dearly loved due to changes in their family leave policy and other internal transitions. Additionally, I advise ministry staff to explore their options discreetly without informing their current church, as it could lead to immediate termination. I stress the significance of prioritizing one's own well-being and family when making this decision. Leaving your church job is always difficult. You have formed relationships with those you work with and those you minister to.
