First vid I've seen of them a bit older. It's a softer version then their early renditions. I like it very much. Wish they had gotten big here in the U.S.. Maggie actually looks better. She aged very gracefully. Simply beautiful

I was a roadie back in them days, ( when I lived in the Netherlands )I met them, They were both very nice people, Willem slapped me on the back as a greeting ( if I had false teeth, I would of spat them out ) He was a BEAR of man, but he was really a friendly GAINT of a man.

I call this an 'ironing board tune'. My mom would iron on Sundays and she'd stack as many 45 rpm records on the turntable as it would take and they'd play one after another. Thanks for ironing all our stuff mom! Some others I remember, The Manhattens - Kiss And Say Goodbye Bobbie Gentry - Ode to Billy Joe Lulu- To Sir with Love Dusty Springfield - Son Of A Preacher Man Skeeter Davis - The End of the World Mac Davis - Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me ... and so many more. Love those songs even if it's not what I normally listen to.

Well they are not. They parted after three years, in 1974. Willem Duyn (Big Mouth) died in 2004. In 2008 Sjoukje Spijker (Maggie MacNeal) collaborated with Arie Ribbens (who can be seen in this recording) to form a new Mouth & MacNeal. He died in 2021.

Außerdem, wer im Shobusiness arbeitet hat sowieso keine andere Wahl, als sich irgendwie so gut als möglich auf jung trimmen zu lassen. This is Arie Ribbens not Willem "mouth" Duyn, unfortunately. Duyn passed away in 2004. Per Wikipedia: "in 2008 she reformed Mouth & MacNeal with Arie Ribbens replacing Duyn, but with no success." Sad. I would like to find the last live performance of Willem "mouth" Duyn with Maggie MacNeal (aka: Sjoukje Smit) singing this song. Has anyone found anything?

There’s a video of them singing how do you do with their live band on KZread but unfortunately only the beginning and end of the song, it was from a tv show where someone talked over half the performance . They sound really good

Quit bagging on Arie not being the original "Mouth". Many bands, throughout the century, had replacement band members, but kept the original band name. That's life! Arie did a fine job in my opinion. I dare to tussle feathers...Jason Newsted was better than Cliff Burton.

Wow I just saw this remake of this song &: personally I prefer the original. I'm 45 I'll be 46 this May & my best friend & Wife who I married it'll be a year this June were both born in 78 but we both feel like we were both born in the wrong Era cause neither of us likes any of the music from the 80's, 90's early 2000 or now we prefer the music from way back in 50's, 60's 70's & 80's 👍☮️✝️ we especially love this song "How Do You Do" we actually played this song at our wedding this past June 2023. All of the music we played was from the 50's 60's 70's & 80's but only 1 from the 90's by (Boyz Ii Men) "I'll Make Love To You'' the rest were songs that our parents grew up listening to. ❤ 😍🤩🌹🌷✝️☮️

He looks same stage
Not the original "Mouth" Doesn't have the energy in his voice like Willem Duyn did.
Doesn't have it like the original at all.
Ich hab sie gar nicht erkannt ... schon etwas älter geworden ...
She sounds the same, his voice has changed. But It is a terrific song.

Quit bagging on Arie not being the original "Mouth". Many bands, throughout the century, had replacement band members, but kept the original band name. That's life! Arie did a fine job in my opinion. I dare to tussle feathers...Jason Newsted was better than Cliff Burton.

We can "bag" all we want. OFTEN the replacement guy is nowhere NEAR as good as the original.

Wow I just saw this remake of this song &: personally I prefer the original. I'm 45 I'll be 46 this May & my best friend & Wife who I married it'll be a year this June were both born in 78 but we both feel like we were both born in the wrong Era cause neither of us likes any of the music from the 80's, 90's early 2000 or now we prefer the music from way back in 50's, 60's 70's & 80's 👍☮️✝️ we especially love this song "How Do You Do" we actually played this song at our wedding this past June 2023. All of the music we played was from the 50's 60's 70's & 80's but only 1 from the 90's by (Boyz Ii Men) "I'll Make Love To You'' the rest were songs that our parents grew up listening to. ❤ 😍🤩🌹🌷✝️☮️

@@ittybittykittymama7582well it’s because this is not the original ‘Big Mouth’. Willem Duyn died in 2004. This is Arie Ribbens. He died in 2021, so it’s an old recording. They formed the new Mouth & McNeal in 2008.
