    To be fair, it looked pretty damn sketchy on the screen. It's interesting how different the camera angle can make the slope look. @7:51 it looks steep as heck, but the drone shot @7:57 makes the slope appear much less steep. I still think they glossed over pulling the Jeep up that nasty camber at the bottom of that slope. When Tom Tom took the Rudicon up and backed up to get a better line, it looked like his driver side rear was hovering over the sort of fall that Wile E Coyote so often finds himself suspended in mid air before plunging down yet another cliff face. Not a situation I would want to be in - that's for damn sure!

    What I love about Matt is he gets it. He knows that he will be successful if he helps others around him be successful. So many people are selfish and feel like others have to fail to make themselves successful. Some of my favorite KZread channels are channels Matt introduced through his channel. But you know what? I still come back to Matt. He's the best.

    The only problem is that Casey has his own offroad recovery business to run, and this is the busiest time of year for him. There are probably people who have been stranded on a snowy road for days now. Starving, not smart enough to realize that snow is actually frozen water, so slowly dying of thirst. It's terrible!

  • @richardelliott9511

    @richardelliott9511

    2 жыл бұрын

    Don't mean to be snarky, but be carefull in conveying that sentiment about dying of thirst when you are surounded by snow. The latest semi official advise on the subject is to not eat snow or use your body heat to melt snow just to stay hydrated. When struggling to stay warm with no supplies you can lower your core temp to the point where you can't recoup it causing you to freeze to death all the sooner. thanks! All the more reason to get Casey back home, although he still seems to be keeping up a good posting schedule while he's away.🤔

They would place the sheep along the dangerous areas on the roads and then it was up to the individual to figure out the safest way forward if the "cones" wandered a bit to find better pasture! Ah, the good old days (When Trever was young and fiesty!)

    The off road culture is for history buffs. Most of these "roads" you see go to an old gold mine or ghost town (that you don't see in the video) There's reasons for these roads. Some of the trails I'm on are historical themselves. Like The Old Spanish trail. We stop off and explore the War Eagle Mine. (look that one up sometime) Some of the mines and ghost towns are still in decent shape. The roads (trails) are like filters, the tougher the road, the less people use it, less people means better condition. There are even old wagon ruts left behind from the western expansion. Lonely graves long lost to time. One mine we go to, there's still an old Model T bolted to the floor with belts and pulleys instead of rear wheels. It ran the rock crusher over a hundred years ago. And Sand Hollow has trails that interconnect with others that go all the way to the Grand Canyon. The back side where hardly anyone goes. Everyone has their own reasons for being out there, but now you know why we are there. You're welcome to rent a Jeep and join us!

    Did anyone notice Rudy pulled out the bus in 2wd? As Matt says it may not be the right way to do it but it's the way we're doing it. 2 successful recoveries so all's good. Really looking forward to the first new and improved Banana recovery!!

    Great video! I always enjoy the customers reaction. The first one was amazed. The second one didn't look like so but I was amazed after learning that you get a bus out on 2wd. I guess that shows how much of the work is done by the rope. :)

    After watching the John Wayne episode on you guys which I have to say was incredible, I have to say ….. you need the interior in the Banana. The yellow reflects so much off the windshield it looks tinted yellow too. Holy crap it’s yellow. Anyway keep up the awesome work. Tons of respect from Ontario Canada. 🤙🏻🇨🇦

Then Paul and the fab rats (more beautifully videos) now the Ruby Leaton army and mischieff maker, and following the mysterious box. Please don't stop. Salutation to all the family from France. 😃😃
