Great vlog, its got our family looking at air miles now. One thing we noticed, the new tesco clubcard offer for virgin 2500points requires a first autoexchange of £1.50 in clubcard vouchers, so you need to spend £150 on that new clubcard before 8th July.

you can use virgin red to spend your points but the exchange value isn't very good

I have a Virgin flight account I have had it for a few years & never really thought much about it but after looking at your vlog I thought I would check if it's still open & valid .. I have 4500 points sitting in the account ! you explained this really well & I have just connected my tesco club card up to my Virgin miles account & am definitely looking at the Virgin credit card ..

Your garden furniture, how you keep them so clean without putting covers on them, we had to cover ours as with rain etc they started going green & mossy so we cleaned then up & just cover them now

Great effort thanks for all the info. Just one thing when using the curve card. Aren’t you always better using the euro/dollar etc rate instead of converting to pounds? I recently used my starling account in Barcelona and always got a better rate selecting to pay in euros

Good tips as I use a clarity card which has no fees using aboard. How do you save money on car hire and accommodation when in Florida?

Love this vlog guys. Thank you. We collect avios, but live in the northeast and get what you say about living in the north. Can I ask how you look for seats that can be used on the plane? Do virgin allocate so many per flight that need booking way in advance? We have the girls so need to book during school holidays, which can make it a little more difficult.

yes they allocate seats as reward seats take a look at seat spy that's a good free site to check for seats

Get red star cordyline you can get it also in a purplely /pink colour look lovely You could get a pizza one that fits on top of a bbq

Wish I knew about this card before. Flying from good old Donny 31st July to Orlando with tui premium. The crumb mix on the cauliflower ,was the packet from Tesco? thinking of doing same but with chicken.And one more thing tried to book restraunt. Space 2020 found it impossible always booked up.

I tend to use our Virgin points for upgrades as the point flights are not on all flights so can be difficult to get if you don't have flexibility of dates. Have you thought of getting a US bank account which makes it easier over there, I transfer money to it when the exchange rate is good.

Use the old coffee on your plants. It's good for them 🪴

Because you both have the reward plus card can you link them both to the same virgin flying Club account or do you have to have separate accounts?

Wow I never knew this about shops away so annoyed we have just booked through Walt Disney world website on Monday just gone, could of claimed the points. & we booked Disneyland Paris for September coming could of got those points as well. Definitely be using this every week for my sainsburys shop thanks for the tip! We currently have 54,000 points looking to get free return flights next April.

Tesco used to do the points with BA Avios too but stopped it a couple years ago sadly 😢

The Morrisons offer is for new people, if you have used shops away before it won’t let you have that deal. I looked the other day and saw it, but I wasn’t logged in, when I logged in I couldn’t then have the Morrisons offer.

Have you guys ever tried evaporated milk as your cream? I use it more than half/half because it just tastes creamier. The first time I tried it in my black tea it was like the Halleluiah chorus from Beethoven. In my coffee it was almost better than an orgasm. It is also cheaper and probably less fat since it's regular milk, just evaporated. Cream has more milk fat. Just try it. Also, check amazon for the plastic flowers that look real. They have tons and look EXTREMELY realistic.

Great video - made me realise using the free virgin credit card as i’m doing currently probably isn’t the most effective for earning miles. Do you know is it possible to pay the fee and upgrade my free credit card to a reward+ one or would this be a brand new application?

Just a thought. If you get points for spending on the Virgin card, can you theoretically go to a cashpoint, take out the £200 on curve and then put the money back in the bank to get the points?

Nice vlog guys. Interesting topic but as I have found out the dates are very limited to get Virgin flights using points - nothing available during peak school holidays at all - sadly for us it’s paying full price even with points accumulated on the same virgin credit card as you have; Virgin want almost £6,000 this December to go direct - Economy (!) from LHR to MCO for two adults and a 6 year old 🙈🙈🙈. Keep up the good work - my little granddaughter loves your Florida vlogs and does a mean impression of “monorail, monorail” and “Joffreys coffee” bless her 😂😂😂 David 🇬🇧😎🇺🇸🌴🎡🛩🏰

Can't believe how much you use your Air Fryer. Your oven must now be redundant. Air Fryers seem the way forward x

Bit late to the party but apparently you can also do a virgin points booster on past and future flights. Usually have to pay to do so (I was quoted £69 to buy ~6900 points which is a steal.

I feel like I could as Nick anything and he would know the answer! He is really good about explaining things, especially these Virgin points, I wasn't really aware about them before now. Definitely a good way to collect points :)

yes and there is a tie in and limits so when you work out what you'd gain in points it's not worth the cost over the min term

Free flights is a bit misleading, you still have to pay the tax. Which is hundreds per flight

We've been twice full disney resort all the parks. Going again this year hopefully . Universal and florida. And we get comments " how do you afford it?" " you going again?" . I've got to admit it gets on my nerves. We save bloomin hard to go. We don't earn alot but we cut back and save. Plus I look for cheapest deal . This year we've saved a couple of thousand by doing a stop over connection. Not looking forward to it but we have to go in summer hols now so I'll take the cheaper option if it means going.

Do you both earn points on the same flying club membership or have got separate accounts? I've recently hit 15,000 but should my Wife be collecting points or am I able to use my points for her too? Hope that makes sense. Keep up the good work guys ✌️
