My Dad was from Galicia and as a kid in the 70's I remember us visiting cousins in La Coruña driving up from Monforte de Lemos where my Dad was born and left for England in 1958. Enjoyed seeing it again on the vlog, great memories there. Thought you may have tried the Galician Albariño wine, one of my faves !!

It stood while every episode of Dallas aired. Too funny! What a beautiful area!

Watching from the hot tub?

There seem to of been beautiful views pretty much everywhere you’ve gone on this cruise. And beautiful food as well! I can see why those chocolate muffins/cupcakes were so tempting there at the end.

I'm glad you enjoyed part of my beautiful country! You must come to visit here in Marbella

Outstanding video. We loved La Coruna and sat at the same outdoor cafe. I saw her pass in front as you approached the table, she did the exact same thing to me. She acted like she had no clue what I said. Lol sooo fun to watch, wish we were back.

As much as I enjoy your Florida Vlogs, watching these cruise ones where you explore lots of different places and regale us with all the facts, is my absolute fave. Fantastic series as always. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Shame we got rid of out outdoor lido at our local coast, it's still there but overgrown & concrete broken up 😪

There seems to be a large ferris wheel ride in every city.

All of that beautiful food is too tempting! It would be so hard when returning back at the Lodge to exist on McDonalds after so many feasts! LoL

Anthem of the Seas entertainment was the same back in 2015. They keep the main shows for a very long time! Only the guest entertainment changes, but that also tends to repeat on a cycle :)

My favourite port on our p and o cruise in 2019 we did an excursion which included a walking tour of the old town then a coach to the castle before a scenic coast drive up to a hotel by the observatory then the final stop the tower of Hercules a very steep hill that we never had time to reach the top. We did have a look around the shops and our daughter bought some Nike trainers which you can’t get in the Uk ( or should I say her Dad payed for 😂).

I love how Nick knows all the information on everything and teaches it to everyone :)... so informative,,,, today in spain looked so nice.... food looked amazing....

Thanks for this series, we’re doing this cruise in September so all the port and ship tips are great! I’ve read somewhere that because it’s sailing out of the UK they have a special Gin menu with a selection of fevertree tonics! Did you ever see anything like that? If not I’ll have to put some fevertree in my luggage!

We didn't take notice of the drinks to be honest with us not having the drinks package

Of the 4 ports of call on this cruise, A Coruna is easy the best port city. Easily accessible without additional transportation, very charming old town, and everything can be seen with a bike ride around the town.

Never been to the North part of Spain, like you said such a different type of landscape

I've never been on a cruise before but your vlogs have really made me want to do one! Just out of curiosity, how does the passport control work? Do you do it once when you board the ship and you can come and go as you please when you've docked? Or do you have to do it every time you get off the ship and come back on again? Sorry its such a silly question but I'm curious!

I need to try more food in Spain. So many things didn't look that great to me but need to get out of my comfort zone. Question for you. We travel with others and it is so awkward when bill comes as so many places won't split the bill for you. We wondered how you all do it? I heard Hannah say that Mark was getting the bill at one place in Spain. Also, we noticed more tipping in UK now. Dishroom added 12% on and we always left 10 or more. I was a bit upset that sometimes our friends didn't round up and would go back and add more to the table. I just feel like the service industry suffered a lot during covid so if the service is good we like to tip. I now want to do a cruise out of Southampton and we live by Port Canaveral. Your cruise stops were fab.

I am pretty sure they never change the broadway/west end shows on the bigger Royal ships. I wish they would at least every few years. Iloved Jamies on Anthem. We thought it was the best specialty venue on the ship.

What are these cruises like for disability scooters do they cater for mobility when you get off ship to the cities you visit

Cruises are usually mobility scooter friendly, but you have to research each port. Many cities are old cobbled roads and not good for scooters.

But I’m stuffed? lol biggest dilemma on a cruise.

Looks beautiful, and the history of the lighthouse is really interesting. Feeling hot just watching this being one of the hottest days ha ha. The swimming pool is deffo inviting. I love all the little shops and places to eat so sweet great vlog x.

Thanks for all the info you have done on each port really useful, we have been looking to do that cruise itinerary and were not sure what there was too see but you have made our minds up for us and we will book it for next year I really enjoy all your tips on apps to use on your phone.
