Your L and right channels got reversed somewhere, maybe when you went into the Mackie mixer.

Yeah I just flipped my headphone around... I thought it was just me, lol.
I've been trying for a while now to make sense of how to separate the 1-2 subs from each other. Finally someone to explain it. Thank you.

🌴Glad it was helpful!😁
I bought this mixer for church to control everything happening with the band, and this video just confirmed that I made a wise choice. Great value for money. This video is very very helpful and informative. Love this channel🔥
Whose here watching, 2021? I just bought this same mixer for our church and this video helped me a lot in setting it up. Thank sir!
Fantastically good, I'm really looking forward to the next episode. It's fun to learn things, especially when the teacher is good. Thanks so much.
Finally, I have found a simple explanation for the subgroups, especially why I lose left or right when I only have one sub pushed up! LOL ;)
Sir thank you very much, i admit i'm zero into this, but watching your first 3 videos for Live1604 is great. Thanks again more power to you and your channel
Would be great to have a video showing how to put an effect e.g. Reverb on to the lead mic channel using the Aux knobs.
Hi, helpful vids so far. I have this exact board. Also looking forward to the next video. Regards,
Excellent video👍
Great video. Thank you! 👍🏻
Thank you for the subs explanation. I finally get it. I’m a drummer and sound guy, not the best place to be to be FOH guy.
Good video, thank you
Hey man, you really helped me learn a whole bunch more especially added to my observations, my church has the Live 2404 it’s a very Big Boy, I can’t seem to find the part 4 of this series that you were doing where you said in this video that you were going to talk about (The Eq’s and the aux e.t.c) please could you point me to where it is if you have recorded it and if not please could you make a video because I’m really dying to see someone like you explain what effects the EQs have on a Mic 🎤 while you yourself using the mic. I’d appreciate it sooo much
I have fx22 allen and heath plus fx 16 for practice good information thank you
Thank you!
Waiting for the Part 4 about the knobs.pls upload it soon.
Great lesson, I have this mixer, thank you ! ... I tried to connect an external effect processor on the rear panel but I lost the signal of my guitar inserted on the 1st channel - I wish to understand how to connect the external processor, I used the proper cables, the 1/4" TRS ...
hi thank you for the tips. my only question is Where i will hook my subwoofers to the console? i have alto subs by the way.
hey sir. do sub group out affect post fade monitor as well? when turning down the volume from sub group?
Thanks. Can the subs solely control the output without the main. That is, can we get sound with the main completely down.
Hello! Do the subgroup L and R buttons (near the main) affect the Aux out too? We are using Aux 1 out to Scarlett > then OBS. I want to make sure that the mix can also be heard on the aux. We are using the 2404.
Thanks for that video! But I’ve got an additional question to the Subs: my Mixer (and yours too I guess) has Sub-Output sockets for each sub channel. Is it possible to use them separately from the main output to get like a multiple room output? Example: input is a stereo signal from a player and I have like an indoor and outdoor area where I need the same music, but different volume levels. I know I can split the Main outs and adjust the speaker volumes, but it will make things much more easy if I can control them on the mixer (if so) and without buying more splitting stuff… My mixer manual doesn’t help at all. It’s a Behringer Xenyx 2442 USB by the way and the sockets are for instrument plugs (stereo jack I guess?) Hope anyone can help me out a bit.

For sure, your subgroup outputs volume are then controlled by the subgroup sliders. that why there there.
Sir, I have the same mixer and i applied what you have taught in this video. The problem is that when I added 1 Subwoofer that has left and right input. I put my main out into that subwoofer and from that Subwoofer I output my left and right speakers. The problem is that the panning and subgroups don't work anymore. Even if I put the signal on extreme left panning (sub1) and activate my left subgroup. The signal played on both left and right speakers. What could be the problem? is there another way to add my subwoofer? Thanks!
Hi Sir i have this mixer live 1604 i have prooblem on how to engage the effects on the mixer i hope you can answer my problem on how to used the in house effects of this mixer thank you very much in advance.
Hi there did you ever finish the course I can only find 3? Thanks
Hellow. I'm just using the headphone output. And my main volume fader. Is not working. Is it because of the headphone output? Is the main fader. Will work on the speaker only?
Great video. I'm working on getting inner ear monitors to use with subgroups (output through the back of a Behringer XENYX X2442 board). When I select a subgroup, can I also select the main output as well, or would I control output to mains AND inner ears using the faders for those specified channels? Not sure that makes sense to you. Thanks for your videos!

Am having same problem with Eurodesk 32x sub coming out from main
Do these subgroups have a specific connection or you connect to the main L/R?
Hi can you share all the videos on alto 1604
how would this work with the stereo mixer channels? say you have 2x stereo sources on mixer channels 9/10 & 11/12 & you want to send them out straight to different sources using the subgroup out jacks on the back of the mixer (mackie 1642vlz4) would you assign both channels, perhaps to [sub1-2] & then output channel 9/10 through subgroup outs 1-5, then channel 11/12 through subgroup outs 2-6?

With 3 sets of 2 channel sub outs, you have options. You can group up as many lines and double up if needed.
I guess that was the end the lessons?
next tutorial please...
So each sub group is stereo, and the output Jacks of the subs each are stereo? In Manual it says it’s TRS so a stereo cable. Is that right?

Per set, not plug. The TRS Can be used many ways on the only 2ch unbalance connection is the headphone jack, insert plug is for send / return option, every where else is a balance input or output option.

@@expertisland thank you! So the aux sends are also balanced (TRS) but mono, and the corresponding aux returns are true stereo?
Cannot understand anything

I would want to Use the Left in & Left Out on the BIGsky with an insert cable this will add it to the channel with the Guitar (Guitar amp out) is pluged in, the insert cable gets pluged it to the insert port on the mixer channel . Here is the link on amazon for the cable amzn.to/3RlBb2Q (1/4 inch TRS Stereo to Dual 1/4 inch TS Mono Insert Cable) Hope this helps.
