The more I am exposed to the intricacies of a living cell and the cosmos the more I stare in wonder at the knowledge of God, throw in time and God's interaction with us and I see myself as an ant crawling across a super computer. Then to know I am incapable of even grasping a fraction of the whole realm of the physical, because I don't have the receptors to contemplate the unseen physical, I am blown away. Then add to that, the unseen spiritual, ..... How can I even grasp the concept of my Creator? I guess worship and praise to His glory can be my only response, yet even that seems so inadequate.

All that and then we have Miracles and wonders like the Eucharistic Miracles or the shroud of Turin etc.. God has shown many many times his power to work outside of our knowledge of natural laws.

What if there is a 3rd paradigm largely ignored by most people? What if there was a spiritual creation prior to the physical creation? What if the spiritual creation took 7,000 years but we do not know how long the physical creation took? What if the Garden of Eden was the Genesis from which all plants and animals filled the whole earth? In Genesis chapter 1 we read about the creation of the earth and then in Genesis chapter 2 it talks of God finishing up his creation and then it says in Genesis 2:5 that “every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.” Of course plants need to grow before animals can live and it needs to rain fresh water in order for most plants to live. Then in Genesis 2:7-8 it says that God formed man from the dust of the earth and then he planted a garden eastward in Eden where he placed the man then plants and animals were formed. From the bible we know the history of the earth from the time that Adam and Eve were placed in the Garden of Eden but before that time we do not know how long God took to form the physical earth nor do we know how long they were in the garden before the Fall of Man. There are many other clues of a spiritual creation in the bible which include: • Num. 16:22 God of the spirits of all flesh, • Eccl. 12:7 the spirit shall return unto God who gave it, • Jer. 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee • Eph. 1:4 chosen us in him before the foundation of the earth • Jude 1:6 Angels which kept not their first estate (Satan) • James 2:26 body without the spirit is dead,

There are indeed paradigm elements to each. Science (which absolutely does include the Theory of Evolution) says: Evidence rules- and even if we don't like it, we go where the evidence takes us. Creationism paradigm (which is absolutely unrelated to science) says: We already know the answer. So when evidence competes with our answer, we will ignore it, pretend it doesn't exist or speak untruth about it.

Also, you are a witness to the things in your own life, like your experience of happiness, love, joy, human connectedness, prophetic dreams, synchronicities, righteousness, emotional control, mental control, justice, morality, anger, hatred, jealousy, revenge, pain, emotional instability, mental instability, human attack, demonic attack, death etc.

I look at creation & I'm in AWE of The One who created it about 6,000 yrs. ago. (the beauty of the formations of stars in the heavens, the variety of all animal and plant life and how each is designed to survive). Yet w/all my heart I believe what we see w/our eyes in the heavens and on the earth does not even scratch the surface of God's wisdom, power, love, grace, & mercy. As both of you pointed out that the programs for software that humans design does not even come close to the program information in DNA. Give praise and honor to HIM, who lives forever. AMEN ! ...I look forward to an eternity of learning HIS ways.

The only answer I can give you comes from Scripture (The Word of GOD). "Those who wait upon The Lord will not be ashamed"...."Let GOD always be truthful & every man a liar"...."Heaven & earth will pass away but MY WORD will not pass away"...."In the last days many will mock & scoff at Creation, The World Wide Flood of Noah's Day, & the return of Jesus Christ"..."The Lord longs for all to repent & call upon HIM to be saved"...Even now in this late hour HE desires to show MERCY, (repent: 2 Greek words- "to think again"). It's not to late to believe Jesus Christ... BUT time is very short....Why walk away from so great a Salvation ? PLEASE, I once thought as you & HE showed me mercy...Please seek life

For now I'll just wipe the dust off of my feet and travel on to the next person that our Savior might send me to who will ask me "the reason for my faith in The TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ". At one time during evolution, modern man was perhaps down to under 2,000 people in Africa. Our species was the lucky one to survive. Undoubtedly there existed superior species to us but they were just unlucky.

If an explosion created everything out of nothing, why can't we create any single thing out of nothing? How did consciousness come into existence? - Through unconscious origins?

Paradigms are interesting. However, reality intrudes. If you jump off a 10 storey building, I don't care what your assumptions are, or which paradigm you prefer, It's going to hurt when you hit the sidewalk. And that is the problem with all this talk of paradigms and assumptions. Assumptions and paradigms do not affect realtiy. Reality still exists, and it doesn't care what you think. The reason creationists use this paradigm silliness is because in order for their "paradigm" to be accepted, they must convince people to deny reality.

@@cptrikester2671 On the contrary, "happen" vs. "created" is exactly the key point. Did those things just "happen," or were they brought about by an all-powerful Creator? If they just "happened," there is not enough time in all eternity to bring about the universe that we have and all the abundance of life on earth. If an almighty Creator brought it about, then time is of no importance to Him. Why do I believe in YEC? There are many reasons. First, I freely admit that I believe the biblical creation account to be true and that it means exactly what it says. However, I also believe it because I have been investigating this issue for many years and believe that the evidence for a younger earth is much stronger than the evidence to the contrary. The methods used to date ages of things like rocks, fossils, etc., are all flawed and based upon assumptions that cannot be validated. The entire idea of an old earth became established in mainstream "science" long before any of those dating methods were developed. The uniformitarian geological paradigm was formulated completely out of speculation. It is a philosophical paradigm, not science. Evolution, likewise, was formulated at a time when very little was known about living organisms or the enormous complexity of life. Nothing at all was known about DNA or proteins, and little was known abut microbiology. What we know now strongly indicates that life could not possibly have come about from random natural processes from non-living matter. We now also know that there is no natural process that can account for the enormous amount of new genetic information that would have been necessary for macro-evolution to have happened. All the real evidence points to a Creator of unimaginable power and intelligence.

They basically tried to rule the world (mostly helpess countries) and eachother & failed in several attempts, probably busy trying to regain the holy land. But Really, Look at the treaty of tordesilla, and other treaties they had to sign to give up countries after failed attacks like in the 7 years war. God doesn't mind slavery either (with Leviticus 25:44-47 & Exodus 21:20-21) so if yall couldve just got along and defeated the athiest Russians, chinese etc then the world would be yours. Could barely handle the Vietnamese & Koreans though, and they didn't have advanced warships or plains. Rlly just guns, grenades & mines.

Nothing comes from nothing there for creation is in reality the only way plane and simple.

His original purpose never changed. He intended a peaceful paradise filled with perfect human children that never got old and died. They were to follow his guidance. Rebellion brought suffering and chaos to earth, plus raised a universal issue that is being resolved over time. Satan has been proved a liar. Jesus repurchased what Adam lost for his descendants. Bible chronology tells us that in this generation the satanic system of things is in its very last days, which is why conditions are so bad. Thankfully, the good news is the very bright near future God promises. Luke 21, Mathew 24; 2 Timothy 3: 1-5, Daniel 2:44, Psalms 37, Isaiah 35, Revelation 21:3-5

It is not about evidence but about fallen humans and innately enemies of God. The natural person hates God and does not want to be held accountable. Peace.

True, but when a person accepts Christ, their eyes are opened to so many things, and if they humble themselves sufficiently to believe God for things other than just their salvation, they can begin to believe what He has said and done. Our minds need renewing, we have accepted so much error before we were saved that we need to be reeducated.

Yeah i see people asserting that a lot, but they can never explain it beyond an assertion. Gotta remember, according to the logic outlined in the bible, if god is all knowing, all seeing, and created everyone as well as the rules, then he also created people specifically so they would go to hell, or knowing they would make choices that would send them there before they were created.

@@nunyabisnass1141 You are right God is the Creator of all people, that He knows if people will ever trust in the provision He has made for them, that the vast majority will go to eternal suffering in hell. He also knows that no matter what He does, people will still reject Him. People in hell will still be cursing Him, despite all He has done for them. Those people who refuse to come to Him will deserve every moment of their anguish. It doesn't have to be that way for you, if you decide to trust Him, He will receive you.

This is not a sincere discussion. They are pretending to present the paradigm when they are actually just presenting the creationist's story. If there is a god, then neither one should have had to resort to deceitful tactics. Just because science does not have the answer of how the first cell occurred does not mean the default position is god. A creationist and a scientist have to prove their theory using demonstrable evidence. So far all of the physical evidence is stacked on the science side with the creationists not being able to provide one single piece of demonstrable evidence.
