Instead of working as a dispatcher in Pirot, Sima got a job as a locomotive washer. After the shift, lonesome and disappointed in his life, he is looking in the night. It seems to him that his dream of becoming a train driver will never come true. At that moment, Ljuba Manijak, a train driver, enters the first track with his electric locomotive. Sima thrillingly accepts his invitation to go to Belgrade together and show him how to operate a locomotive, but... After an accelerated course on operating a locomotive, Ljuba Manijak goes to sleep, leaving Sima alone to drive. Sima panics because the locomotive starts to accelerate uncontrollably. Not knowing what to do, he calls Ilija, who gives him some advice over the phone. However, terrified Sima jumps out of the unstoppable train, which continues to run on the railway.
