I have known about the precious blood prayer for a long time, and occasionally used it, however, I decided, recently, to implement it fully, 500x + per day for the past week, at 3 pm, or throughout the day, with determination. And I believe there is something happening. I can feel this undercurrent of things I don't know how to explain. Like the sun coming out after the storm. Wreckage everywhere, but hope, peace and a feeling there is a way out of all of this. Especially I hear a lot of things happening in the conflicts of the world...they are winding down or something...like the anger/justification of the Russians is deflated.

@@dellchica2373 I just feel drawn to say it more due to something Fr Blount said in a youtube video I watched a few weeks ago....when I say it I have a feeling of interior strength and peace...security. So with the month of July dedicated to the Precious Blood of Christ, lets see what happens. I always pray for the intentions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. They know what I've gone through and what my heart needs more than I, and I know that they love my children more than I ever could, so my children are in good hands. So it's basically an intention to trust in Jesus' intentions for me and for the world. The world is our holding tank. Heaven is our home.

Thank you so much for making this video! I love the people who had hurt me in the past, but in my heart, I couldn't forgive them. I wanted to hear I'm sorry, which will never happen. Watching this video made me realize that I must forgive them and also forgive myself for my feelings. I want the joy that I know comes from God, but I realize now that I can't obtain joy without removing the anger and resentment I've harbored in my heart. I repeated the prayer you said five times and I literally felt a peace and calm come over me. Thank you Father and God bless you!

A brilliant sermon so much wisdom... We need maturity... It's hard... Death to self... Death to ego... It hurts... Letting go of the desire for revenge etc some people have huge thibgs to forgive and others moan about forgiving petty things... It takes a generous mature heart hence the Rosary 1st so Mary can lend us Her Heart to forgive as our hearts are tiny and weak... Our Lady of Reconciliation help us to forgive and love as you did... Jim Brown sd to Imagine the person who hurt you enveloped in the white light of God's love and sing the well known song whilst thinking of them 'Give... sing their name... Your peace give them ur peace in their hearts Oh Lord etc...' next verse give them Ur love... next verse give them ur joy etc.. Do that and pow!!! Heap those hot coals on their heads of love joy and peace... That's the best 'REVENGE' ha ha and Jesus will smile and say 'THAT' S MY GIRL/BOY'

Most of the cruelest people in the world became the way they are from a trauma. That's why we must give people grace no matter what they do. For, it is not for us to bknow or understand. So sad ❤🙏

This is truly an awesome lesson Fr. Jim. I have struggled so much to forgive family and friends who have hurt me I always found solace in the good book while reflecting on Tobit 8:17 ... "Grant them master your Mercy and your protection let them live their lives in happiness and in mercy". These words of God have helped me much and your lesson has truly taught me much. We can forgive. It doesn't mean we have to allow them to do it again. Or even continue them in our lives. The need to forgive is not only for them. It helps you to move on. Not only that but god requires it. Forgiving does not mean they are not accountable for what they did.

When I was badly treated by some people I was full of hatred. I realised I was holding onto bitterness and hate and that I was doing my own Will by hating. That the persons I hated were God's children as much as I am, and are as equally loved by Jesus as I am. Shock! Horror! That I also do and say wrong. That I can't expect Jesus to forgive me if I refuse to forgive another because then I am placing myself above Jesus! I expect Him to forgive me so who am I to refuse to forgive another? I refused to hold onto hatred or bitterness or grudges. Forgiveness sets US free. It is not for the other person/people. When I realised that I forgave. I have been set free ever since. I no longer hate. I also of course have to pray for them. That can be very hard but I started in a small way and Jesus helped me. I have to say if I met them I would not speak to them unless they have changed. That would be foolish. I would avoid them in charity. They have to answer to Jesus. Forgiveness is an on-going thing. It is an act of the Will. I try to pray for Hitler, Pol Pol, Idi Amin etc. Even if they have to suffer in Purgatory for millions of years I hope that all evil people will eventually get to Heaven. Only God knows any person's heart and what made them act as they did.

Moulton Mary was and is and always will be perfect! I am not! I pray for the grace not to be so perfect but to truly forgive with Her GRACE!

I am having a hard time with the affair partner! I am the betrayed! It hurts so much! Married 21 years and he. CHeated with long term relationships THREE times our marriage! I am Having a hard time letting go and forgiving! Every affairs he would want to stay with the affair partner! He won’t break up with her Instead he would become irate and narcissistic towards my daughters and I. He would blame it on me. I made him cheat and treats me like dirt. I’m having a very hard time living in peace, because of the hurt and trauma caused by him.
