Your smart fellow figuring out all the problems that,s gone wrong with it and didn't go to school for small engine repair. Get it going and make a little money on it and learn alot for figuring stuff out for future bikes you buy. Great stuff bud. Keep the video,s coming.

Thanks bud! I asked a friend early on that owned a shop if he thought it was worth it to go to school and he told me I could spend money and learn or learn the hard way and make money along the way too. Seemed like a no brainer to me lol.

I’ve been buying and selling Atv’s for a few years as a side hustle. I’m trying to make the switch to parting out instead. It’s less stressful than trying to repair a machine. I’ve also noticed that Polaris sportsman 600/700/800 are the best machines to part out. I made 3k profit parting out a 06 sportsman 800. But it’s hard to buy the machines because I’m competing against so many flippers

Those are good models for parts, but the rangers are a little better if you have a way to move them. The parts are the same size but a lot more expensive. I think the sportsman 800 does much better than the 600/700 lately. I will say parts are still stressful when you deal with bad eBay buyers. As far as buying goes, it is cutthroat trying to get some of the really good deals. I will buy something in severely bad shape since it is of no interest of flippers for a part out.

What is the cheapest automatic with power steering you would recommend? Trying to find something reliable for my wife to ride around our property.

If you are going new or used probably the sportsman 570 or the outlander 450/570.. If i was buying used i would want it to be a very clean low hour unit since the power steering is a massive pain to repair. I will be buying one of the outlander 570 DPS for my wife, i think the can-am has a higher build quality but the sportsman is still a great machine.

Hey need help! I just got a yfz 450 2004 and it ranned really good. It came.with a red medal aftermarket thumb throttle.then it got unscrew and put it back but then.my throttle cable came off from the throttle!then I looked at the carb and saw that the throttle cable was not on all the way

  • @user-zx4hk2iz3y

After I put the cable back on. I would turn on the quad and the bike would just shut off when I would accelerate it.

Judging by off of what you’re saying, possibly that you had the wrong throttle cable on there or there’s an issue with that aftermarket thumb throttle did the machine sit for a while? If so, then it may also need a carb job.

Yea for 99% of our used part sales. We do sell a few parts a year though PayPal and I can sell them cheaper that way since eBay gets a lot of money in fees. There are some links in the description for our eBay store as well as the shop website. I can be contacted at michael@ibuyjunkatvs.com
