I'm starting from the very bottom with this.. I have a product that I'd like to try and put on the market. I do not have a license or patent for it. It's a very simplistic product and there are many companies who distribute similar products, but not this particular one. I thought I would call companies who made these type of products. I'd tell them what I wanted them to make, they would tell me the cost and then they would make it. Its certainly not that simple.. I really appreciate your channel I'm learning alot about where to start.

You can do this . You just need to learn the steps. Reyvaj's suggestion is good, but i would get our book "One Simple Idea" first before the book he mentions below. inventright.com/books/one-simple-idea/ And if you want to get on the fast track consider our coaching program. inventright.com/services/. That's exactly my issues. I love doing the creative part of the process. Then there's the making a list, calling, and extensive research. Is there a way where you team up creative students and research savvy students? ~wishful thinking~ 😂

Hi Dapper Dean, It's not hard. It is work but anyone can do it. Most of licensing your products is not the inventing part. Once you accept this, you can be successful. No one will be as motivated as you to work on your projects. If you want to learn it yourself and then hire and train someone to do it later you will know if they are doing a good job because you will have done it yourself. If you never do it yourself, how can you manage someone else? Keep Inventing! - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder

Is the company that did the George Foreman grill, out to just take your money or your idea, are they a good go to company to help you get your product searched for a patent search, or are they just like I said, out to get your money

Have you tried Google patents? No company will help you do a search, that's your back yard and it takes about 10% of the work now that the data base is online.

@@inventRight 😞 my idea has something to do with solar panel, & everyone that I have talked to that has solar panels, & explained my idea, & how it worked said, OMG, I so wish there was something out there like that, I'd totally so buy it, & tell everyone I know that have solar panels about it, so I know it would sell like hot cakes,

Hi John, I think we did tell you how to make your list. Look at reatailers > then look at the big companies selling at those retailers selling products somewhat in the same space. We never hold back on giving "how to" info. Once you have this of course, you will of course need help with other things. That's where the coaching comes in as you can have this kind of info but all sorts of things come up that are specific to your situation that the coach can guide you with.
