⁠@@kA-oh2xuit starts at 12:00am PST time! and is every other hour after that make sure to convert it to your timezone properly. you’ll know you’re in a shared space if you click on one of those white crystal looking things on the ground and like furniture appears.

Same XD I'm not sure why. I guess it feels soothing to have someone explain something familiar, + Sky footage is like ASMR to my eyes

Im able to get 24 candles a day in about 1.5 to 1.75 hours. I start at the portal where tasks take place, then use the wind tunnel to get the candles there and the cake at the top, then to Hermit Valley, to get the cake and do the race to village of dreams where I go for the 2 cakes and the song. Then back home and enter Daylight Paraire and go through all areas, finishing up in the sanctuary islands JIT for the geyser [here I run out of chevrons]. Then all hidden forest JIT for Grandma's dinner and back to Sanctuary Islands for the turtle event. If my candle hasn't turned gray by this time, I either do Valley of Triumph and the races or Vault of Knowledge.

I just finished my candle run for today and this video dropped... Took me one and a half hours but I completed the daily tasks, used up my chevrons completely and collected all five of those bloom tokens as well. I got something like 16-17 candles (not counting the ones from tasks) and that's basically as efficient as I can get.

I'm playing for more than 1,5 years and still enjoyed your explanation, it's so useful and detailed, and still gives space for others to create their own tactics! Bravo! I only would add about sunset turtle event that y'all aren't needing only to go by the turtle trace, you can also explore the bottom and top edges of the trench, there are some shells further than turtle's route, which also disappear after event ends. And, plus to that, i noticed there are exact times while timed events give lights. For example, after you'll attend polluted geyser three full times, on fourth time the event will be occurring, but you won't find light in dirt orbs anymore. For grandma, you can attend it two full times, on third the bread won't contain light. As for turtle you can collect shells only once, but about light trace i wasn't tracking it yet and will be thankful for info about how much full times of event it gives light. IT BASES ON HOW MUCH TIMES YOU'VE BEEN TO EVENT, but you don't have to orientate on the game reset time for it, you can attend it in any time still, just after you've been there certain amount of times, you won't get light so it stops making sense to go there, for example, 10 times a day, you can confidently skip it after you visited those events for certain times

What I do is hust a candle run through Hidden forest, Golden waistland & vault of knowledge as they give the most wax and then I finish 3/4 quests to have at least 10 or more candles everyday

Back then we need to run in all realms to get at least 15 candles, but then we just want farming together with friends by taking turns leading the farm. The new system makes farming easier but shortening the time for players to play together.

@@soxwithyourmon do quest every day, use only season candles for cosmetics you like- remember they will return (do not use this method if you get the season pass then get the ult) season candles is a nice way to have a “extra layer of candles stored up for an emergency” i use this to give myself permision to use candles when the end of the season os neer.

i usally collect all the candle cakes first and then go to the vault, daylight prairie, hidden forest and get 1 candle by playing an instrumental at the harmony hall

Wow, this is Incredibly helpful!! I’ve been playing Sky since 2020, and in the early days there really was no easy way to collect candles 😢 Stress from candle-running was what caused me to eventually leave Sky (I’m back now, though), so I’m glad to see that nowadays candle-forging is Much easier :) If only these get-rich-quick plans worked in the real world 🤔…

Idk how to find the musical hall man

I'm still new, but I've learned to always go through the vault of knowledge, even if it isn't the extra candles realm. The vault has like 6 or 7 candle cakes, and some smaller clusters here and there. Still gets me a full candle or sometimes two even if my chevrons are all out.

there was a way to get candles easier, and it was people's recording with cameras. you just had to click on the camera and voilà, you collected wax more fast ! it was patched tho.

My daily reach candle it's 18, I usually do vault run 'cause it's fast 😅, daily candle cake area and do once Geyser n' Abuela, when vault it's daily candle cake I do trials too. Well, when I say my reach it's 18 candle, I don't count daily quests too, it's abt candlerun. To me it's effective 'cause I'm lazy 😂 ( I'm not recommending this, the candlerun work as you preffer.)

Yesterday, I was almost done with the candle run. I got almost 210 candles. Suddenly, my candle icon turned grey and when I tried to farm more candle cakes, the bar didn't go up like a meter. Only a small inch now. Why is that?

17:20 i get to attend Grandma twice a day, i went back a second time with 1 chevron left but after the 3rd serving, no candle lights emerged after they popped, i did it again the next day and the same thing happened, is it just me bugged or does it mean she cant be visited at every 2 hour reset as the 'Only' source of candles?

You can get 1000 pieces of light from grandma dinner every day. Each time you participate this event you will receive 600 lights. So after the second time, you will not be able to get any more light.

Turtle light is linked to granny light. In total you can earn 1000 light I believe. So if you finished granny the turtle won't give you light and vice versa.

Eu sou brasileiro, mas sei inglês, basicamente tá dizendo pra fazer os eventos diários entrando no jogo nas horas certas dos eventos, que são sempre em 2 e 2 horas com alguns minutos de diferença entre eles, no video mostrou as 3 áreas e como os eventos ocorrem, também foi dito que mesmo chegando um pouco atrasado ainda é possível obter as luzes para fabricar as velas. Fazer as missões diárias também são necessárias. E tem um limite de 20 velas por dia, na qual fica mais e mais dificil se você tentar fazer mais que isso, daí é mais produtivo esperar o próximo dia. Tem vários métodos e esse não é o definitivo, vai mais do teu estilo de jogo.
