    Interest rates are at an all time low. Leveraging $ is insanely cheap... 1.8% is unheard of. Not sure what it is like in AU. We are in for some interesting times right now. Not much makes sense, stock market booming, etc. Young ppl like us better strap in and hedge. Governments "printing" $ out of thin air and dishing it out like crazy. Sorry to rant LOL.

    @@Bricksie: Dude, according to your story, you made the most advancement when you had a side-hustle going on. Now that your doing "Bricksie" full time, perhaps your side-hustle could be another channel explaining business and entrepreneurial skills to fellow young ppl, (perhaps step-by-step, how-to-do what your doing, etc.) . . . ~ I would LOVE to see future generations doing-what-your-doing, namely turning idle-time in to profit-time, starting a business & incorporating. As you well know, working for ourselves is much more profitable (and enjoyable) than working for others . . . . . (if fact, you have inspired even me to start a side-hustle !) . . . . .     @@Bricksie yeah interest rates are low but if you didn't move on a house when this video was released and are trying to now, good luck. Houses are way up. I live in Louisiana and a 1300 Sq ft house went from around 130k to 190k in just the last few months.

    Man he got mony in 90 s only CA's it was poppuler in USA. More so..an Manny kids in oz. Spent lots on bying thier hip hop CD s ..but ozy hip hop..got less mony. In 90 s. An had stuff all jobs ..u can work hard on hobbie s but may get less mony. Than guy with full time job ..we all wish we had full time job but don't. an still gain .Lego .

    @@kumada84 Not really. It's written into the tax code to benefit business owners. If you keep all your tools and cars you use to get to work at your house, is that not basically an office? If you do all your planning and finances at your house, is that not the same as having a seperate building on a lease? Not a loophole, just a benefit that anyone can use.

    Beauty. Get him stated with household chores and allocate a pay for each job and a frequently that they can be done. Then "tax" 25% and put that in a savings account for him. That's what I'm gonna do when I have kids LOL. Teach them work ethic, skills, jobs, labor, saving, and taxes early. Hahah

    Nice story mate and it’s great to hear all the hard work you put in to get where you’re at. My wife and I have just started to collect Lego. We both had tubs full from when we were kids, but recently I was able to convince her of the joy of building larger set. Luckily our Lego addiction started during Toy Sales here in Australia so we’ve been able to buy a lot of sets on special and just store them to build into the future.     Very interesting to hear. I've only recently started Lego in the past year or so. Managed to get a nice collection going but it is very costly and hard to maintain with everything else. So from what you've said has inspired me to give KZread/Twitch a go and see if I can make something more out of it.

    Jordan thanks for sharing, what an amazing story, jyst goes to show what a lot of hard work and some great advise from your parents and I'm sure maybe others has worked out for you at such an early age. You should write a book as I'm sure it would inspire others to save early and just be super smart with what you do. CONGRATS my dad used to say " if your job is doing something you love, it will never actually feel like it's a job" I hope someday soon that is how you feel about your channel.     If ur under 18 like me, I found that the easiest way is to work a summer job, even if it’s a minimum wage job and you work part time hours, you can afford some very large sets after just a week of work. Thanks for sharing your tactics as an adult, I will definitely use these in the future.

    I just woke up, it is 12:00PM CST and the first video i watch is this, and wow that is some great advice! right when i am 14 i am going to get a Part time job at Target, and of course with the money i will get, i can Buy Stuff for Family or For me which i will buy LEGO and basically Buy it with my Own money than My Dad's Money.     I’ve been able to start my LEGO hobby by obtaining credit card sign-up bonuses and finding ways to “manufacture spend” (buying gift cards to flip) and netting the cashback/points from credit cards. Made $9k last year from my side hustle all while working full time 40/hrs a week. Your method is fantastic though, too! I’ll have to look into possible LEGO reselling as you mentioned. Happy 2021!

    Great video! Brave to put yourself out there. I started making Lego videos a year ago. I've found that if you buy used locally and build, video and resell there is almost no cost. It's almost like a library check out system but you maintain your virtual KZread collection.

    Sweet!, i just started off with lego collecting as well and first time see you channel. Same here, said part-time job to fund it and buy it on sale. By the way, is nice to see an Albertan ( i'm from Calgary) with a great story!! keep up the good work.

    It has become a nightly routine to listen to people talking about Legos to fall asleep, I never thought that I’d love this story so much to be able to fall asleep knowing that this inspirational story exists.

    Awesome.....I collect Lego, too, brother, and I am usually pretty broke, so it's nice to hear someone plugging ways to fund a large Lego collection, which I also have. I will say.....my first X-Wing Fighter was THE first one......in 1999. So, yeah, I have had a long time to build my collection, but AWESOME!! Keep building, man!!

    As an adult with a family, I love lego and business.. I think it’s awesome the way you have set up your business to maximize the profits and tax benefits and you have structured it in such a smart way. Well done I love hearing about this 👍🏻
