The best part everyone ignored is that this guy didn’t tell us how Matt really stays skinny. It is because he doesn’t indulge in monstrous amounts of food on a regular. And when he does, it is for a challenge and then he eats very less the weeks after so it balances out the calories and he never goes in a surplus. Also, he trains regularly, so that helps too.

The shitty thing about stretching your stomache capacity is that it's hard to feel full unless you way over eat. I used to weigh 290 pounds and I could easily eat 3 chipotle burritos or 2 large pizzas with sides, etc etc. Lost 110 pounds and my stomache has shrunk quite a bit but I still feel hungry even when I know I ate enough. Sucks.

@@Pjmeyer Just drinking a lot of water mostly and otherwise just ignoring it. Surgery is an option some people take to reduce the size of their stomache but it's risky. Sometimes I can get away with just eating a bunch of very low calorie foods such as lettuce or carrots and that helps.

Hi I’m not sure but I think fasting might help shrink down stomach. I have high appetite but every year I fast in Ramadan because I am Muslim and I always lose weight and I feel like my appetite go significantly down I fell full match faster and this effect last for months after it. However I do get my hunger back after force my self to over eat because of bad habits. Do note that our fast is without drinking water or food from sunset to sunrise which is about 16 to 18 hours. Not sure how it would work if it was a water fast.

Idk id hate to live this lifestyle. Seems like torture. He follows a strict diet the majority of the time, very little calories and lots of exercise, and then only in the span of a few minutes he forces himself to gorge down food almost to the point of vomiting. I didn’t even know the stomach was capable of stretching until I was wrestling in Highschool. Having to cut weight made me play closer attention to how I felt after eating a lot vs a little. I rarely had to cut weight, but once I did it was torture because my stomach had been used to consuming a certain amount of food. When I denied it, it was painful. After a while my stomach shrank and the pain decreased. I was able to eat smaller portions and feel just as full. Now that I’m 25 I’m trying to pack on the pounds lol. It’s harder than I thought.

Hyper-eating contests always make me sick to my stomach. I'm proud of Matt and how dedicated he is to his goals. It's just not for me!

I just realized I don't have that reflex. I just eat until there's no more or until I feel bad about it.

Guaranteed 95% or more of these competitive "eaters" are competitive vomiters. Soon as they leave the competition they drive away so they won't get eliminated for cheating and YAK. That's how they do it.
