Hey Zach, that was really in depth knowledge about the ADC's. It will also be good if you can take topics related to Microcontrollers, FPGA's, CPLD's, DSP etc. It doesn't have to be very high level knowledge but would be great if you can make understand them just at a basic level where someone might be able to understand their applications in the electronics field.

Transducers and photodiodes (as well as other photosensors) are low-impedance sources. Circuits based on FET buffers and most nearly ideal amplifiers are also low impedance sources. FET-based circuits can vary though because the FET might apply parallel resistance across the output that raises the impedance. Some high output impedance sources include piezoelectric sensors and CCD-based devices.

Very good
Thank you for the great content. How do I determine whether a signal source has low impedance or high? in which case It is necessary that a buffer needed to decrease the impedance of the source signal?

Current sources are high impedance and must connect to a low impedance load, if your ADC has voltage-mode input you would use a transimpedance amplifier to convert to a low-impedance source. Ideal voltage sources have low output impedance. However, some sensors that are essentially voltage sources have high output impedance and are intended to connect to a high load impedance, in this case you should do as you say and convert to a low output impedance voltage source with a buffer amp. Some sensors that require precision measurements may list their output impedance, in which case you can make a judgement as to whether you should convert to a low impedance source with a buffer.
"Kenneth, what is the frequency?"
Wow Zach, u ok? You look pretty pale over there…

The blue light of the new set is probably throwing off the camera white balance.
