As a Nuggets fan, I didn't see Gobert being particularly bad. Did you guys catch early in the game when Jokic made a remarkable pass to AG around Gobert, Gobert still managed to turn around and block AG's shot in the split of a second. Look at the box score Timberwolves had the best defense with Gobert on the floor. He was -2 in 40 minutes and they lost by 15 points. KAT was -17 in 38 minutes. McDaniels was -18 in 31 minutes. Gobert played solid. Jokic is just playing on another level. That is the difference and you guys should be talking about him more, not the Timberwolves. They did nothing wrong.

People acting like Gobert is some scrub just cuz Joker is cooking him. NOBODY can guard that man. Even AD in last round couldnt guard him. He is making fall away jumpers while getting smothered and heavily contested. He is just a different animal

Familiar formula: 1) Underestimate Jokic/Denver 2) Lose one game to Denver, blame someone, propose a solution. 3) Team actually implements the "solution", but then something else breaks down as a result, Denver wins again. Blame someone else and propose a new solution. 4) Team implements the new solutions, something else breaks down as a result, and Denver wins again. Rinse and repeat till Denver wins a series. Bring new opponent, and do everything all over again. How many times do you need to do this till you finally face the fact: Jokic is MVP for a reason, and Denver is a Champion for a reason. Accept it, it will be way less stressful to watch them, and you might actually enjoy their play.

On a side note, the Joker wasn't in his prime plus he played with some guys who are not in even in the league atm. Still he adjusted in a quarter and scored good on the Lakers. Draymond is such a weak link that defenders like AD don't even guard him because he throws up bricks. With Jokic, AD comes all the way out to the perimeter to guard him and that helps open up the driving lanes.

Nikola Jokić was given the MVP trophy on the night, and played the best game, by any player, of the entire playoff this season, but everybody is talking about T-Wolves, and what they did wrong. Last season, everybody talked about everyone, except the Nuggets, and they won the title. Nikola Jokić is making history, redefining the game, Nuggets are playing unbelievable team basketball, and everybody is focused on their opponents. Looks like nobody respects the NBA champions.

I don’t like commentators who haven’t played in the NBA discussing how badly NBA players are playing. Not only that but how good a defensive player is determined by how other defensive players played! Rudy is the best defensive player but he is playing against the best player of the world. And on the first 2 games the best player in the world was not playing well.

Denver played the best defense I’ve ever seen them play, in game four. That’s why they won. If they can keep up that defense the rest of the way, go ahead and crown them champions.

It’s sad they’re blaming Rudy for the 3 losses. Statistically he had the best +- of anyone on TWolves. What these analysts failed to realize is Game 2 was an anomaly instead of the norm. And the Nuggets were in game 1 until the final minute.

Being disappointed by the fact the Wolves lost three in a row to the Nuggets after being up 2-0 is like being disappointed with a puppy for losing a fight with a full grown hound just because he was able to sneak in a couple of bites while the hound was still sleeping. Get up to date, folks: the hound has woken up, and there's absolutely nothing the puppy can do about it. Cheers!

Gobert got cooked, so did Dreymon, so did EVERYONE that goes against him, Gobert had a decent game, you aren't going to stop him, Ant needs to go super human and Kat needs a above average game and maybe they take game 6, but Joker's got their number now, it's only a matter of time.

These types of takes peeve me a little because they almost always ignore the fact that both teams practiced, planned and tried to execute a game plan but only one team can win. There was real adjustments and counter adjustments happening throughout the game by both teams but pundits make it seem like it was a lack of “heart” or some other esoteric cause for the loss by one team.

These dudes seems to forgot that Ant played a bad game in game 5. 5/15 shooting, 18 points, and, 4 turnovers.

I think the thing that everyone is missing is the officiating change. Wolves were allowed to be extremely physical and then they weren’t allowed to do it anymore game 3. Even though they have still shot more free throws in every game. But it does come down to also joker is just better than everyone.

The Timberwolves shot more free throws in game 3 and 4 than Denver when they lost. In games 1 and 2 Denver shot more free than Minnesota and Denver lost. So I don't know what you're talking about about.

@@jaulj8 free throws have nothing to do with it. I’m saying that when they have been getting more free throw calls than us they are still loosing. My point is the physicality that the wolves were allowed in game 1-2 was immediately stoped in game 3 and the series was officiated more fairly. My problem is wolves fans complaining about calls when the refs were a big part of them winning game 1-2. Along with the incredible defense they played. And then now they are complaining but still are getting more free throws and joker has been in foul trouble a lot

When did this show get so pro- Minnesota? Or is it more just anti-Denver?? Maybe the reason the Wolves are “disappointing” is that they just ran into the best team in the league that is finally playing their best ball? The Nuggets were just kinda sleep walking through the first round and game or two of this series, but now they are locked in and destroying anything in their way, just like last year. Give the boys from Mile High some dam respect! It’s the Nuggets time now..

Joker doesn't have to be the best player on the floor(which he is) for the Nuggets to win. Kat and Rudy will not coming back next season if the Wolves lose game 6. If you watched the game both bigs play small, they can't score at will and Kat is missing for most quarters.
